Day 1
Results are a couple posts down.
In talk about Friday’s FMLL show, Mistico says fans don’t really want to see him in cage matches, because he can’t do all his moves and such, but it’s not like they can take down the cage. Perhaps they can stop booking him in cage matches. SuperLuchas has detailed results, explaining the cage match was elimination rules, which makes one wonder why they didn’t just do a cibernetico. This is not an official CMLL title, so we’ll never hear about it again unless FMLL has Mistico defend it next year.
DJ Spectro also has a recap of the show.
Rayo de Jalisco Sr., Gran Cochisse, and Salvador Lutteroth (in memory) were honored before the show, and lesser honors were giving to Satanico and Panther.
Day 2
FMLL (SAT) 12/12 Plaza Liberacion, Guadalajara [DJ Spectro, DJ Spectro (2), ESTO, Fuego en el Ring, SuperLuchas]
1) Láser Boy & Sadico b Demonio II & Super Halcon Jr.
2) Hijo de Solar, Trauma I, Trauma II DQ Barba Roja, Hijo de Pirata Morgan, Pirata Morgan Jr.
3) Huracan Ramirez, Super Astro, Villano III b Black Terry, Pirata Morgan, Rambo
4) Bobby Lee Jr. & Súper Nova b Coco Verde & Cocolores [semifinal]
5) Fantasma de la Ópera & Oro II b Axxel & Super Muñeco [semifinal]
6) Axxel & Super Muñeco b Coco Verde & Cocolores [mask]
7) El Hijo del Solitario, Juventud Guerrera, Super Crazy b Head Hunter I, Mr. Águila, Oriental
Honored on this day: Ray Mendoza (accepted by Villano II), Pepe Mendieta (accepted by Rambo), Oro (accepted by his father Calavera II), Zandokan (by his sons) and Solitario (by his son.)
One of the Pirates fouled one of the Traumas.
Enfermero Jr. did show up to take part in the mask matches, but Hijo del Solar came to the ring before the match, pointing out his father had just defeated Enfermero Jr. for his mask, so he can’t be putting on the line here. The commission agreed – and put Oro II in the match. Fantasma de la Opera didn’t like teaming with a tecnico but still won.
Before the final match, (a) Coco Rojo turned up, evidently the one who lost to Super Muneco a couple years back. He endorsed Coco Verde and Cocolores as the original people in the gimmick, responding directly to what the other Cocolores had said earlier. This is doubtful, but whatever, it’s Payasos. Coco Rojo ended up putting his hair on the line too. Coco Azul & Coco Amarillo (who knows) ran in too late to help their friend, but still beat down the tecnicos so this is probably a set up to a match for next year or something.
Coco Verde was announced as a Isreal Ramirez, a Mexico City 18 year vet, but did not seem as one. Cocolores was announced as 7 year wrestler Julio Cesar Gonzalez from Pachuca. This was billed as Super Muneco’s 100 mask win.
Day 3
FMLL AAA (SUN) 12/13 Plaza Liberacion, Guadalajara [Informador, Fuego en el Ring]
4) Billy Boy L Aerostar and Sexy Star and Estrellita [hair]
5) Dr. Wagner Jr. & Silver King b El Mesías & La Parka Jr.
Honored on this day: Antonio Pena (Joaquin Roldan), Angel Blanco (Jr. and widow), Eddie Guerrero (Javier Llanes), and Black Gordman (alive! hooray!)
Informador suggests Fabi was not just replaced by Estrellita, but moved to the second match. Fuego’s pictures don’t show her, but they don’t have written results yet. DJ Spectro’s short blurb on the show sides with Fuego. Aerostar took Billy’s hair, despite Hijo de Tirantes helping out.
Main event was changed to a straight match, instead of the parajes increidble. Wagner got away with a foul on Mesias.
