Here's a few notes and tidbits from the Bubba/Hogan Bash in Orlando. The first people that came out to the crowd were Eric Bischoff and Jason Hervey. They worked the crowd for a little while before Eric declared that it was "cold as hell out here". They headed inside. That's me with him, he was in a great mood tonite!
Next, arriving a bit late was Scott Hall. He was indeed there, and shook hands with a few fans in the crowd.
Up next we saw the TNA cam crew w/Jeremy Borash come on to the scene. They buzzed the crowd a few times.
Here's something a little interesting. Out of Margaritaville, our location, comes Monty Sopp, aka Billy Gunn. A few of us in the crowd recognize him, but he walks briskly away. He did a quick wave as he walked away, but he was obviously in a sour mood. Wasnt he just released last week?
Vince Russo comes up the walkway next! He takes a few pics with people, including myself. He kept pretty quiet, mostly watching things from a distance.
Out comes Hogan accompanied by Bischoff, Hervey, and Bubba(in the shades). The TNA crew cuts a promo with the Hulkster, then Hulk meets and greets with the fans a while. Next, Bubba starts conducting interviews with some fans. This makes sense, seeing that he looks to have a short term deal with TNA as a reporter.
Bubba gets some work out the the crowd, even asking them directly if they dislike Vince McMahon and the competition. An interesting note....Bubba was instructing the people he interviewed to pretend that they were LIVE at Impact, Monday.
So maybe they are gonna ploff the Bubba segments as being live on Monday?
Thats about it. Great time had for 40 degree weather!
