Melina Vacated the Title, 8 Diva Tournament!

2010 has started out rough for Melina forcing her to vacate her Divas Title. An 8-Diva tournament to determine a new champion will begin tonight on Raw.

Well I hope it goes to someone NEW. I love Melina and Didnt want her hurt but thinking about this, I hope someone NEW can benefit from this.

I want either Nattie, Alicia, Gail or Eve to get it.

But I know it will go to Maryse.

I just hope Melina gets to speak on Raw with no interupptions or bs.

I can see those match happen in the first round of the 8 women tournament.

Maryse vs Nikki.

Jillian vs Eve.

Gail Kim vs Kelly Kelly.

Alicia Fox vs Brie.

I'm wondering if this means she won't show up on Raw at all. Hopefully she has a segment with Bret and we get an update on how long she'll be out.

Anyway, I don't expect this tournament to be anything good, 2 minute matches with Maryse winning the whole thing.

from how this states I am expecting this finals to be a royal rumble or 2 weeks before it

since they said it's gonna begin tonight and not end tonight.

That is cool but I was kinda hoping there would be a new champ announced today but we will probably only get one match out of 7!

I really want any wrestler besides Maryse to win but I REALLY want Gail to win with Natalya a close second.

so the way i see it is it last 4 weeks, two matches tonight, two matches next week, the semi finals the week after and the finals the week before the rumble

im shocked its nice to see them do something more orignal like a tournament

i predict Maryse, Gail, Eve and Alicia to win the first round
it would be neat if they found a way to get bella v bella...but that would mean one would be in the final

Gonna be a long 6 months for me, I'm assuming she doesn't need surgery or she'd most likely be out longer.

I guess Ill watch the Divas on SD and see Beth and Nattie.

I REALLY hope that the upcoming matches are better than that.

Gail should face Nickie so they can hopefully have a decent match because if not then it will be all fucked up like this one was. .

Alicia should face Kelly and Jillian should face Eve.

I would have Gail face Alicia in the semi finals and Maryse face Eve in the semi finals.

The finals for me would see Gail winning the diva's title at The Royal Rumble against Maryse.

If they want to speed up the process then they should utilize Superstars to get some of the matches out of the way. Their are 3 Raws and 4 Superstars til The Rumble which is on the 31st I believe. And there are 6 matches left but the final would be at the PPV ideally so that makes 5. So they really should have another first round tournament match on Superstars this week then the final two next week and then it would be the semi finals matches a week before the PPV. That would mean the raw before the PPV would already have the two challenges established or at least one of them and they would scout the last semi-final match going on.
