"Rise of the Phoenix"

Segment 1: Kristal Marshall vs. Tiana Ringer.

Kristal charges towards Tiana but Tiana quickly heads to the ropes holding onto the ropes chasing Kristal away telling her to go away. Kristal moves back as Tiana moves away from the ropes and makes her way more in the middle of the ring. Kristal charges towards Tiana again and Tiana quickly heads for the ropes again. This time Kristal ignores the referee as she grabs a hold of Tiana’s leg and she pulls with all her strength as Tiana releases the ropes and falls in the center of the ring. Kristal quickly goes for the cover but Tiana quickly kicks out. Tiana quickly crawls away towards the ropes running away from Kristal. Kristal attempt to grab Tiana but Tiana pulls down the second ropes which sends Kristal flying to the outside of the ring. Kristal lands hard on the canvas as the referee checks on her. Tiana pushes the referee aside as she exits the ring and grabs a hold of Kristal. Tiana then charges towards Kristal slamming her lower back onto the edge of the apron. The fans cringe as Tiana grabs a hold of Kristal and picks her off the floor as she slams Kristal’s face on the ring apron. Tiana then tosses Kristal back into the ring as she slides into the ring. Tiana quickly goes for the cover on Kristal. Referee: 1…2…Kick out. Tiana grows furious as she grabs a hold of Kristal’s hair and she lifts Kristal off of the floor. Tiana then charges towards the turnbuckle as she smashes Kristal’s face into the turnbuckle. Tiana then lifts Kristal onto the top of the turnbuckle as Kristal is seen in a seated position on top of the turnbuckle. Tiana then grabs a hold of Kristal’s hair as she pulls Kristal off of the Turnbuckle as Kristal goes crashing into the middle of the ring on her back. Tiana then heads for the next turnbuckle as she climbs onto the second rope. Tiana then leaps off the second ropes and nails Kristal with a splash. Tiana hooks the leg as the referee makes the count. Referee: 1…2…Kick out. Tiana is in disbelief as she can’t believe Kristal just kicked out. Tiana pulls Kristal onto her feet as Tiana irish whips Kristal into the ropes. Kristal bounces off the ropes as Tiana attempts the clothesline but Kristal ducks and Tiana misses. Kristal bounces of the ropes and heads back in Tiana’s direction. Kristal goes to attempt the head scissors takedown but to her surprise Tiana reverses it into a back breaker as Kristal is seen lying on the floor holding her back. Tiana smirks as she grabs a hold of Kristal’s hair as she Irish whips Kristal into the corner. Tiana then charges towards Kristal but Kristal raises her boot and Tiana crashes into it. Kristal quickly climbs the turnbuckle and leaps off of it landing a cross body on Tiana. Kristal tries to go for the cover but Tiana kicks out. Kristal tries to grab Tiana but Tiana punches her in the stomach. Tiana then lifts Kristal off of the floor and goes for the body slam but Kristal manages to wiggle out of it and lands on her feet behind Tiana. Kristal then sets up Tiana in position for the reverse DDT. Kristal then nails the Kristal Krash!! Kristal quickly hooks the leg and goes for the pin. Referee: 1…2…3!!!!!

Becky Bayless: Here is your winner….Kristal Marshall!!!

Tiana Ringer rolls out of the ring holding the back of her head as Kristal is in the ring celebrating. Kristal stands on the turnbuckle as she raises her hands in the air as the fans cheer her on. Suddenly once again this masked woman comes out from the crowd and slides into the ring and pulls Kristal down from the turnbuckle as Kristal crashes down onto the canvas. The masked woman takes Kristal and pulls her towards the turnbuckle. The Mystery woman climbs the turnbuckle then leaps off the turnbuckle and nails Kristal with a Tornado DDT!! Kristal is laid out as the masked woman brushes over her head glaring at Kristal, who was knocked out by this devastating DDT. The masked woman exits the ring as she continues to glare at Kristal and she walks up the ramp in this mysterious way.

Segment rating: 5.2

Segment 2: Trinity=Greatness?

Lauren Brooke is seen backstage along with Trinity, who had her WCW World Championship on her shoulder. As Lauren begins with the questions.
Lauren Brooke: Trinity, last week you amazed everyone when you defeated Nora Greenwald to become the brand new WCW World Champion. But seems your attention has been shifted by WCW’s new Signee.
Trinity: You see, that’s the problem with you girls. You quickly forget what is important. Did Beth Phoenix build this company? Was Beth Phoenix a rising star? No, she comes in to steal the spotlight. Beth Phoenix might be a star, but in the end, I’ll be the one to shine.
Lauren Brooke: But Trinity, tonight you already have your title defense against former Champion Nora Greenwald. Chances are your title reign might be short lived.
Trinity: you see Lauren, that was your mistake. We are in a new Era, the Era of dominance, the Era of Power….We are in the Era of the Glam…..ha, thought I was going to say “the Glamazon” huh? No, we are in the Era Of The Trinity!!
Trinity shoves Lauren aside as she walks off to prepare for her match against Nora later tonight.

Segment 3: Exchanging words

Mercedes is seen walking backstage, still suffering affects from last week as she is about to enter her locker room when out of nowhere a garbage can was thrown at her as she bumps into the door. Jazz then charges towards her and continuously stomps her as she puts Mercedes in a seated position as she places the garbage can over Mercedes as she leaves and walks back, but this time with a Kendo stick in hand. Jazz raises the stick and then smashes it into the garbage can multiple times. Jazz then yells at Mercedes as she walks away.
Jazz: I’m waiting for you to step up Mercedes, when are you going to step up!!!
The scene fades as Mercedes is seen leaning against her locker room door almost lifeless.

Segment 4: Krissy Vaine vs. Roxxi

Krissy was checking in her mirror before she begins to wrestler, which frustrated Roxxi. Krissy then hands over her mirror to Amber as she turns her attention to Roxxi as she charges towards Roxxi as Roxxi nails her with a hip toss. Krissy lands hard on the floor as Roxxi grabs a hold of Krissy’s hair as she pulls off of the floor. Roxxi then irish whips Krissy into the corner. Roxxi then charges towards the corner as she nails Krissy with the body splash. Krissy stumbles forward as Roxxi bounces off the ropes and charges towards Krissy and nails her with a big boot to the face as Roxxi quickly goes for the cover as the referee makes the count. Referee: 1…2….kick out. Roxxi quickly makes it to her feet as she pulls up Krissy. Krissy quickly raises her hands and rakes the eyes of Roxxi, who releases her grip of Krissy. Krissy quickly takes advantage of this as she nails Roxxi with a vicious elbow to the face, which sends Roxxi stumbling backwards. Krissy then nails Roxxi with a kick to the stomach. Krissy then wraps her arms around the waist of Roxxi as delivers the gut wrench suplex on Roxxi. Krissy goes for the cover but Roxxi quickly kicks out. Krissy flips Roxxi onto her stomach as Krissy puts Roxxi into the Camel Clutch. Krissy tightens her grip as Roxxi tries to break free. The crowd cheers Roxxi on as Amber is on the outside trying to ignore them and cheering on Krissy. Krissy then stomps the floor landing on Roxxi’s back as Roxxi falls back down to the floor. Krissy then grabs a hold of Roxxi’s head as she pulls Roxxi up to her feet. Krissy then nails Roxxi with a vicious chop to the chest. Roxxi stumbles backwards as Krissy heads towards the ropes as she bounces off them and heads in Roxxi’s direction. Roxxi reacts quickly as Krissy reaches her she quickly lifts Krissy over her shoulders and delivers a devastating Samoan Drop on Krissy. Roxxi then goes for the pin on Krissy. Referee:1….2….Kick out. Roxxi then gets to her feet and is about to grab Krissy but Amber quickly pulls Krissy out of the ring. Krissy is on her feet on the outside as Amber checks on her. The referee signals for Amber to go away and Krissy to enter the ring but they ignore him. Roxxi then exits the ring and looks on at the duo. Roxxi then charges towards them as she leaps off the apron and nails a flying double clothesline on Krissy and Amber. Roxxi is on her feet as she grabs Krissy’s hair and she lifts Krissy into the air and drop her close to the apron as Krissy’s face slams into the ring apron. Roxxi then grabs a hold of Krissy’s hair again as she tosses Krissy into the ring. Roxxi climbs onto the apron as she is about to enter the ring. But before she could enter Amber grabs a hold of her leg. This stops Roxxi from entering as the referee tries to stop Amber. This gives Krissy a chance to crawl in her corner and grab her little mirror. Krissy then quickly walks towards Roxxi as the referee exits the ring to practically move Amber away as Krissy takes the Mirror and smashes it into the head of Roxxi. Roxxi lands on the apron as Amber releases her leg as Krissy grabs her arm and pulls Roxxi into the ring. Krissy then quickly goes for the cover as the referee slides into the ring to make the count. Referee: 1….2….3!!

Becky Bayless: Here is your winner….Krissy Vaine!!!!

Amber slides into the ring as she taunts and laughs at Roxxi as the referee raises Krissy’s arm. The two then start to stomp Roxxi, who was bleeding from the head. The Taylor Wilde is seen running down the ramp as the crowd goes wild as Krissy and Amber quickly exits the ring and walks up the ramp feeling that finally they got their revenge on Roxxi. The scene fades as Taylor Wilde is seen checking on Roxxi.

Segment 5: When will you be here?

Sunny is seen backstage talking on the phone with someone as the camera follows her.
Sunny: Yes here tonight. You’re going to be here right? I almost completely ruined the surprise. They only know half of it. But soon, they will see.
Sunny continues to walk.
Sunny: Oh, you’re close to the arena? Ok, I’m coming, just stay at the entrance. I’ll be right there.
Sunny walks off as the scene fades

Segment 6: “The International Royalty”

Another Video Package was shown with a female standing in the dark, with smoke covering her, making it hard to see who she is as her voice can be heard.

Voice: They Call me a Princess, because I am going to become a Queen

Voice: There shall be no comparison. There shall be no equal.
Voice: For I am made of greatness, blessed with purity, with the only goal of success.

Segment 7: Up for a fight?

Lacey and Rain are seen in the ring with their championships on their shoulder. They are both with microphones in their hands as Lacey lifts up her microphone and begins to speak.
Lacey: Last week, me and Rain here successfully defended our championship against the has been champions…or former champions if you may and stand her tonight still as WCW Tag Team Champions.
A loud chorus of boo’s heard throughout the arena as Lacey continues to speak.
Lacey: But last week, someone offered to take a beating from us and lose. Someone offered to be named the new Nr. 1 contenders for championships they are obviously not ready for. Which is why tonight, we would like to make things official. If you two are able to walk tonight, please come out here.
Lacey and Rain are in the ring awaiting Serena and Daizee. Serena’s theme is heard throughout the arena as Serena and Daizee are seen, tripping all over the place coming down to the ring. Serena with beer bottle in hand as they enter the ring and Daizee grabs Rain’s microphone from her hand and hands it over to Serena.
Serena: Now…All four of you want to make our challenge official?
Serena obviously had a little too much to drink as she is seeing double. Daizee quickly grabs the microphone from her and speaks for her.
Daizee: It’s two Serena, not four.
Serena lifts her shoulder shaking her head saying she doesn’t care.
Daizee: So what are you trying to say Lacey? Me and Serena Here not ready? How are you sure that you two are not ready to be champions? Let me tell you something I and Serena here are more than ready and we accept your challenge for “Battle Lines”.
Lacey: good, good now that things are official, you can now get out of our ring.
Daizee looks on but to not have any confrontation with Lacey and Rain, she decides to walk away from the fight. But as she turns Serena around Serena quickly starts to speak.
Serena: But first next week…me and Daizee have another challenge for you. Why don’t you two…”Cross the battle line” and take up a challenge from us.
Rain then grabs the microphone from Lacey’s and quickly answers Serena.
Rain: You can’t challenge us. Anything you can do…we can do better.
Serena: Fine, next week it is going to be me…against one of you two bimbo’s in a BEER DRINKING CONTEST!!!!!!!
Rain: Wait..what…No…we don’t do that!!
Serena: You see, I’m a great drinker…now prove to me one of you two can do better….Bye bye ladies….don’t train to hard.
Serena drops the microphone as her and Daizee leave the ring laughing as Lacey shoves Rain and the two argue in the ring then turn their attention to Daizee and Serena as they stare each other down as the scene fades.

Segment 8: Ashley Lane vs. Sarah Stock

Ashley and Sara are in the ring as the lock up and Sarah wins the battle with a knee to the stomach. Sarah then runs to the ropes as she bounces off of them and heads in Ashley’s direction. Sarah goes for the clothesline but Ashley kicks her in the stomach. Ashley then grabs Sarah’s hair as she slams Sarah down to the canvas. Ashley stumbles a little holding her stomach as she gets on top of Sarah and begins to mount Sarah with some vicious right hands as Sarah’s head bounces off the canvas. Ashley then lifts Sarah off of the floor as she tightens her grip of Sarah’s hair as she smashes Sarah’s face into the turnbuckle. Ashley then begins to viciously stomp Sarah in her stomach as Sarah tries to fight her off. Ashley then charges towards Sarah driving her knee into the stomach of Sarah. Sarah holds her stomach as Ashley grabs her hair and slams Sarah down face first on the canvas. Ashley then nails Sarah with an elbow drop on the back. Ashley then flips Sarah over and goes for the cover. But before the referee could make the 3 count, Sarah kicks out. Sarah is then lifted to her feet by Ashley. Ashley then kicks Sarah in her stomach as she heads towards the ropes and makes her way back towards Sarah. Ashley then grabs Sarah’s neck as she flips over and nails Sarah with a flipping neck breaker. Ashley then quickly crawls towards Sarah and goes for the cover but Sarah kicks out. Ashley grows furious as she grabs Sarah by the hair and begins to slam Sarah’s head countless times on the canvas. Ashley then lifts Sarah up to her feet. Ashley then nails Sarah continuously with right hands. Ashley then bounces off the ropes heading in Sarah’s direction but Sarah ducks and lifts Ashley over her shoulder and nails Ashley with a Samoan Drop. Sarah was seen in a seated position as Ashley was on the floor holding her back. The crowd begins to cheer Sarah on as she slowly makes it to her feet. Sarah hypes up the crowd as she grabs a hold of Ashley’s hair. Sarah then grabs Ashley’s hand as she runs towards the turnbuckle and climbs it as she connects with the spring board arm drag. Ashley flies across the ring as she heads in the opposite turn buckle. Sarah is quick on her feet as she charges towards Ashley as she leaps on Ashley’s legs grabs a hold of Ashley’s head and then nails her with the monkey flip. Ashley falls on her behind as she crawls towards the ropes, holding them tightly, screaming at Sarah to let her go. Ashley slowly makes it to her feet, still holding the ropes. Sarah tries to grab her but Ashley nails her with a kick to the stomach, stopping Sarah in her track. Ashley then attempt to irish whip Sarah. Ashley awaits Sarah to nail the back body drop; Sarah notices this as she jumps onto the second rope and then leaps over Ashley, nailing her with the sunset flip. The referee reaches 2 as Ashley kicks out and crawls into the corner. Sarah charges towards Ashley but gets the big boot too the face. Sarah stumbles backwards as Ashley rushes towards Sarah and sets her up. Ashley then connects with the Reverse STO as she goes for the cover on Sarah Stock. Referee: 1….2….3!!!

Becky Bayless: Here is your winner…Ashley Lane!!!
Ashley celebrates but she quickly grabs the microphone from Becky as she begins to speak.
Ashley: Sara Del Rey, where are you!? I’m ready for a fight. You saw what happened to Ms. Chiff and then what happened to Francine and now Sarah Stock. I’m going to be a legend a big name in this company. If you want to feed off my fame for the opportunity to say “Oh I wrestled Ashley Lane” well then come out her and get your 15 minutes of fame. Because you may say, “yes I wrestled Ashley Lane” but there is one line you might never get a chance to say and that is “ I defeated Ashley Lane one on one”. So come out here Sara, come take your beating.
Sara’s theme is heard but there is no sign of Sara anywhere. Then this woman with a cap and sunglasses is seen climbing over the guard rail, Ashley doesn’t notice her but the woman quickly slides into the ring and attacks Ashley from behind as the crowd goes wild. When the sunglasses and cap is removed the woman is revealed to be Sara Del Rey. The two vixens brawl as they fade away backstage still fighting.

Segment 9: Still at it

They come back from commercial as Sara and Ashley is still seen brawling backstage. Sara pushes Ashley onto a table as she grabs a chair. Sara charges towards Ashley with the chair as Ashley moves out of the way and Sara slams the chair into the table and drops it. Ashley then nails Sara with a kick as the two continue to battle. WCW Officials are rushing towards the two as they are pulled apart and Sunny comes into the scene screaming.
Sunny: What the hell is going on!!! We have important things to attend and you two are fighting?!?!?! You want to fight, you two will fight at Battle Lines and it will be a No Disqualification match. Now you two stop fighting or get out of the arena and don’t ruin my show!!!!

Segment rating: 6.9

Segment 10: You want to make it official?

Cheerleader Melissa is seen in the ring as she has a microphone in hand. The crowd cheers her on as she begins to speak.
Melissa: Tonight, I want to attend business. You see, from some time now, someone has been trying to play superior diva here on Nitro. You see I have no problem with over confident people. I mean just look at our current champion, she’s so far up her own….but I’m not here to talk about her. I’m here to talk about Natalya. Every time I have the opportunity to battle Natalya, she seems ready to run. I hate those kind of people. They are so quick on talking about how great they are, but when it’s time to back it up. They run, which is why tonight I have a little offer for our dearest Natalya. So Natalya come out here and listens.
Natalya’s theme plays as she is seen at the top of the ramp with a microphone in hand as she begins to speak.
Natalya: What do you want Melissa. Much like these fans I have no time to waste with you.
Melissa: Easy there tiger, why don’t you come down to the ring and we could have a little chat.
Natalya: I would come down there, but I’m getting into the ring with you. All you do is want to fight. And I don’t want to embarrass you in the ring and in front of your so dearest fans who couldn’t tell talent even if it knocked them in the head.
Melissa: Oh embarrass me? That is so kind of you Natalya, but let’s talks business. I really want to wrestle you, but it seems you don’t want to wrestle me. Aren’t you the great Natalya Neidhart, the third Generation Diva, the great in ring competitor? While me, I’m just…Melissa. I have no big story to my name. I’m a nobody, why don’t you want to wrestle me?
Natalya: You want to know why Melissa? Because I don’t wrestle people I know I can beat, people who are out of my league. You see I don’t see you in my league or ever beating me. So I don’t waste my time with you.
Melissa: And yet, I’m not convinced. We only had one battle and that was a draw. So wouldn’t it be fair to have just one more, one to determine who the best is? In a fight I know you can’t run away from? Well what I’m trying to say, I want you in a cage match at “Battle Lines”. What do you say?
Natalya: You know what. I accept. I’m tired of your constant attacks and you following me. I’m going to do it to finally prove to not only you, but to everyone that I am better then you. So guess what I’m trying to say is. See you at Battle lines
The crowd goes insane as Natalya walks backstage as Melissa hypes the crowd and they cheer her on.

Segment 11: The Main Event: Trinity © vs. Nora Greenwald for WCW World Championship

Trinity and Nora are in the ring as the two charges towards each other. Trinity nails Nora with a vicious clothesline. Nora tries to get up but she gets stomped back down to the floor by Nora. Trinity then grabs a hold of Nora’s hair as she pulls Nora up to her feet. Trinity then snapmare Nora as Nora lands in a seated position. Trinity then charges toward the ropes as she bounces off of them and she heads in Nora’s direction and leaps off the floor nailing Nora with a front dropkick. Nora’s head bounces of the canvas as Trinity quickly goes for the cover but Nora kicks out. Trinity lifts Nora up to her feet by her hair but Nora nails Trinity with a chop to the chest. Trinity quickly responds with a knee to the stomach. Trinity then heads towards the ropes and bounces off them heading in Nora’s direction. Trinity makes her way back towards Nora as Nora lifts her off of the floor and drops Trinity on her back, nailing her with a back breaker. Nora quickly goes for the cover on Trinity but she kicks out. Nora then heads for the turnbuckle as she climbs onto the turnbuckle. Nora awaits trinity as she leaps off the turnbuckle and goes for the Nora Go Round. Nora connects it as she hooks the legs for the pin. 1….2…Kick out!!! Nora can’t believe Trinity just kicked out. Nora makes it to her feet, pull up Trinity at the same time. Nora nails Trinity with a chop to the chest. Nora then lifts Trinity off of the floor and nails her with a back breaker. Nora then pulls up Trinity off of the floor again. Nora then wraps her arm around Trinity and lifts her off the floor and nails the “Nora Lights Suplex”. The referee goes for the count. 1….2….Kick out!!! Nora can’t believe this as she grabs a hold of Trinity’s hair and she pulls trinity up to her feet. Nora then tries to go for the irish whip but Trinity reverses as Nora heads towards the ropes. Nora heads back in Trinity’s direction as Trinity dishes out a vicious kick and nails Nora with a SuperKick. Nora falls to the floor as Trinity goes for the cover. Looks like lightening doesn’t strike twice as Nora kicks out of the Super kick. Trinity then heads towards the turnbuckle as she climbs the turnbuckle. Trinity then attempts the Fall From Grace..but before she can do so she is pushed off of the top of the turnbuckle by this blond woman who made her way down the ramp. Trinity crashes into the ring as the woman, who was revealed to be Beth Phoenix slides into the ring. The referee calls for the bell as the match ends in a no contest. Beth then stomps on Trinity continuously as she then turns her attention to Nora. Beth grabs a hold of Nora’s hair as she pulls Nora up to her feet. Beth then lifts Nora into the air and nails her with the “Beth Valley Driver”. Nora rolls out of the ring as Beth then turns her attention to trinity. Beth then sets up Trinity as she then delivers a vicious “Glam Slam” on Trinity. Sunny is then seen coming out from backstage with microphone in hand as Beth Phoenix stands in the middle of the ring with the WCW World Championship in hand. Sunny then speaks.
Sunny: I give to you, the future WCW World Champion…Beth Phoenix!!
A loud chorus of boos are heard throughout the arena as the scene fades and the show comes to an end.
