Report: Former Tag Team Champion Set to Return to WWE

PWInsider.com is reporting that former WWE Tag Team Champion Joey Mercury is set to return to the company in the near future. Mercury held the tag team titles along with John Morrison, when Morrison was known as Johnny Nitro, and the two were part of the tag team MNM. Mercury was released from WWE back in March of 2007.

Looks like MNM is on a comeback trail

YAY!!! As much as I want to see an MNM reunion, I rather see JoMo go for the WHC and Joey can fight for the IC title and Melina the womens It will be awesome if they had a one night only reuion with the 3 of them.

This makes me want Melina back on SD when she gets back even more.

Thats if he comes back on SD.

I am kind of intrested to see how this goes. I think we are gonna see possibly Mercury envious of Morrison feud.

I'd agree with all this if it wasn't for the fact that Mercury opted for retirement when he left OVW following his WWE release.
