| some moron on another forum tried to say that the Attitude Era was heavily influenced by WCW. this guy even said that the Stone Cold gimmick was influenced by the nWo lmfao, even though the Stone Cold gimmick originally started to take shape in the original ECW. he even said the original ECW had no comedy angles (bWo), no boss vs wrestler angles, and no backstage angles lmfao | |

| i wouldnt say it was influenced. but im pretty sure that if WCW never existed, WWF would've never gotten that far. The attitude era was a way to get ratings and shit it. It's pretty obvious it was to attract the WCW and ECW fans because after they bought them out, shortly thereafter, they stopped being so.. extreme. | |
