Finally

Funaki has something that will get him a push and he will be used more. I love where they are going with this. He reminds me of Ricky Steamboat on a few of the moves that he used tonight.

Another gimmick chnage I'm starting to like is Khali with the face turn. While I did admire him as Giant Singh (His actual WRESTLING gimmick in Japan where he actually used moves), it seems that the WWE will never go that route with him. He's not gonna get over with fans on wrestling ability but I do love the fact that they gave him and his manager the kiss cam. I met Khali in April at a Smackdown taping and he was a really nice guy. Rikishi found Too Cool and got popular because he started dancing. Hopefully this will get Khali over.

I have been saying for the last year Funkia needs to get a push or even have one match with out jobbing , lol. Nice to see him with a gimmick now.

Well i didnt actully watch SD , but it sounds like Funaki did have a good performce , to bad Hornswoggle had to destroy the cruiserweight divsion.

But if Kung Funaki gets a push, who will assume the role of "Superjobber"?
Looks like MVP's doing a good job at that.

Eventho he was a "superjobber" he bearly ever fought , altho I'm a fan of Kenny Dykstra they might make him SmackDown's! top jobber.

i dont think mvp is getting the jobber position
i think it is a ploy before he gets a real big push
and to be honest i dont like the ideas of jobbers...i hated funaki being a jobber, and i HATE victoria jobbing and val venis and even snitsky too
they all had pushes cal (IC), funaki (crusiweght), victoria(womens) and now all job
i dont like his attire but i like him getting a push...the problem is as there is no crusiweight title anymore *thank yoo hornswoggle, yoo little bastard LOL*
this means we wont see funaki with a title, he WONT GET US and deffo not WORLD...we can best hope he gets a shot at tag with r truth, but unfortunately it looks like he will get voted for cyber sunday and will probably win
