Best Newcomer Tidbits!

-The award that makes you a star basically! The award only few will have the chance to say! I won that and I'm damned Proud. I mean Serial was the first to win and he made history too. He quickly got promoted to Admin Kow Sean won in September and I remember Serial saying something along the lines" Sean will be the mini Serial should I leave WD" and Serial was right! Sean became admin and is very loved here in The WD community just like Serial is. :x The Wrestling Nerd won in October and although has yet to make a splash like Serial and Kow Sean, Time will tell just how long until TWN makes himself known. Hey he is already a supermod.

BV was the original name for the Awards. Anywhoo I love looking back at past nominees and I can't believe only 3 of these guys are still active(Dead, Serial and LL) The others just dissapeared

Newcomer Award tidbits!

-Serial is the first ever winner, he will always be rememberd for being the first winner
-Reign is the first ever female winner and started a tradition because Vixen and Keri have followed her footsteps
-All of the winners have been active with the exception of The Wrestling Nerd, I guess the right people won after all?
-Kiwi Kevin, Sarcy and CM Keane are the only ones to be nominated for this award twice.


Powerhouses like Dead, LL, Hailey, Meshell, Bones, Joey, KJ, Mick, Janine, and Quisee all have been nominated for this award but unfortunatly lost.

Lauren is the fourth woman to win the Best Newcomer Award. She joins Reign, Vixen and Keri as the only 4 ladies to win this award.

Minterz becomes the 5TH FEMALE! to win Best Newcomer

She now joins Vixen, Reign, Lauren and Keri

ikr? Mizz Hardy was robbed that month but even she is never active. I LOVE THIS! just seeing winners from way back then. Its refreshing to see how much we grew as a forum

How come I was never nominated for this I been active for 3 years

because if you been active for 3 years you arent a newcomer, silly lol

you joined the month before I started doing awards DL so you weren't really new then.


EDIT! No Wait! You were not active that much in the beginning, that's why you weren't nominated for newcomer!

Basically how this award works is if you are extremely active during your first month, you will get nominated and that is your one shot of winning this award unless we don't get many newbies the following month, you can get nominated again!

The Breakthrough award is basically the second chance award for folks whom didn't win newcomer. You can continue to get nominated there until you win (see KJ and Quisee) both have been here for months and have yet to win that award.

Sidenote! Love the posts in this section<3 It's awesome looking back at past winners!

usually people only get nominated once because after that you arent really a newcomer anymore.

there's been a few exceptions..

i hit an outrageous amount of posts within my first few months here. i made it to the top 5 of the top 20 overall poster list within my first 6 months here.

I even managed to pass up LL who was like 5k posts ahead of me.

although lately Blue just fills it with filler people because he cant think of nominees
