| Subject: Mark Henry: Missed opportunity or just a bad talent? Tue 02 Mar 2010, 8:08 pm | |
| In 1996 WWE signed Mark Henry to a massive 10 year WWE contract. He was expected to be a huge force in the WWE, become a huge star, and win multiple world championships. But a multitude of things happened. Bad booking and injuries mostly set him back but some think he never would’ve lived up to the hype anyways.
So what do you think? I personally believe he could have at least been a one time world champion (ESPECIALLY around the time when he first went to Raw last year) and a multiple time mid card champion. Mark has proved lately that he's over as a face. Surely he isn't a wrestling god and yes he's fat. But I really like his look and I think his move set suits him well. Too bad all he ever did was win the ECW title. | |

| Yes, but he put a roadblock on ECW, and no one got through until he was drafted. | |

| The perfect time to give him a push was when he came back in early 2006. He could've been a champ once. He was generating great heat. Other than that... meh! | |

| Mark at his best was when he was an enforcer in the Nation, teaming with D'Lo, Sexual Chocolate, his heel run when he was targetting Taker and Batista...besides that, bad talent. He can be utilized corrected but he sure as hell isn't versatile lmao | |
