| The ratings for last night's show, and it wasn't good news for either the WWE or TNA. According to F4WOnline.com, RAW scored a 3.4 rating while iMPACT scored a 1.0 rating. Spike TV's live telecast of "TNA iMPACT" in its new timeslot on Monday, March 8 drew more men in the key demographic of Men 18-34 and Men 18-49 than the show was previously drawing on Thursday nights. -- M18-49: .98 (+5%)
-- M18-34: .92 (+11%)
Spike TV notes that a significant portion of the audience watch on DVR over the week (Live +7 rating) – and we will not have an accurate rating until those numbers are computed in about two weeks.
Overall the TNA iMPACT! delivered 1.4 million viewers with a 1.0 cable rating, as previously noted. That's actually pretty darn good as they were able to keep their audiance. Also, WWE is in its 'peak time' with WrestleMania just a few weeks away.
WWE on USA: P2+: 5.1 million (-5%)
Non-wrestling competition: History: Pawn Star$ – Season 2 Finales (Mon 10, 10:30p) 5.8 million viewers; highest rated / most watched telecast of Pawn Stars ever.

Pretty much! If both companies make that effort then maybe things will improve. Sting's heel turn was a nice surprise so TNA kind of is trying, WWE should fire back with a Bret heel turn

Dead: So, you think it started to go downhill from there? no no, i was saying i guess thats what you were trying to compare it to lol. to answer the question though...it started sucking in 07 when Cena was shoved down the throats. no one gave a fuck about seeing him and it made people literally want to hurl. he was champ from january of that year to october but he had to vacate it cause he got hurt. i know a lot of ppl were happy when that happened. its starting to suck badly now, cause of the kids. no blood is a big factor in that...fuck the kids...bring the shit back to TV-14

Competition would be good for someone like me, it'll force me to choose between both companies! RAW just fucking sucks because they dont even try as much as they used to. TNA sucks too (for the most part) but they tried on Monday, that's all that matters! I mean besides the Hogan/Brooke and Bubba face time, everything else was pretty awesome.

| lolz both need to stop focusing on promos! It's really a shame when a show like NXT has more wrestling in 1 hour compared to the 2 hour shows!
TNA will never get rid of the WWE guys sadly, from a business stand point bringing in guys that were HUGE in the WWE (Ric Flair, Hogan, Jeff Hardy, RVD, Mick Foley) is a smart BUSINESS move. You may not think so but I do, TNA is the little company in this scenerio so they aren't going to be a threat to WWE overnight! It's going to take alot of hard work and great storylines to gain some viewers. It can happen if done right, you won't ever catch me saying shit like "it will NEVER happen" because last I checked, you can't predict the future and anything can happen. Wasn't WCW beating out RAW at one point? I'll bet WWE Fanatics never expected that.
Basically what I'm trying to say is if TNA gets rid of deadweight (Nasty Boys, Bubba etc) and stop having Hogan hog the camera time? And focus on the NXT of superstars and come up with original storylines? TNA may have a shot in the long run, to really beat Raw they will need a creative mind and I recommend Paul Heyman, he always had some great ideas.
