What's so great about her? I know Tank loves her but imo she's a poor man's Lil Kim I do like her, DO NOT get me wrong but I'm trying to start discussion so here ya go!

First off, you should all be PRAISING Nicki Minaj!!! that should also be the name of this thread, she is F'N AWESOME!!!! She's fine as hell and her mix tapes are HOT!!!!! I've been a huge fan of hers way before she even signed with Young Money, the woman has got mad skills, she's better than a lot of the male rappers out now, but then again most of the guys out now suck ass so...ya know, but anyway SHE'S GODLY ON THE MIC!!!! I don't have nothing against her but i think she only blew up as much as she did is because of the whole lil wayne craze (it's like anything that was linked to him got over hyped), and without that connection she would just be in the background somewhere taking pretty pictures.

THATS A FUCKING LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nicki was a great rapper BEFORE she got hooked up with Wayne, and she'll continue to do GREAT without him.

There's a BUNCH of people that loved her before she went "BIG". Sure being with wayne helped, but it didn't make her.

all i'm saying is that she wouldn't made it past the underground rap scene, and would just be posing for men magazines. it's the same with lil kim (without Big she wouldn't have a career) sure she could but no one would care

ok, how did you hear about her, was it by word-of-mouth or did you stumble across one of her songs and decided to follow up what else she was doing and noticed some other people liked her too.

it was by word of mouth, I was on another forum, and some dude had this awesome verse in his signature, and I asked who was it by, and then quite a few people asked me if I was serious, and how coul I not knew about her, then I got sent a link to her youtube channel and the rest is History!
