It's very possible that he's an asshole, but it's not too farfetch'd to think that Jesse didn't do this as a rebuttal.

Are we noticing a pattern here? If he wanted some action with a chick with tattoos so much, why didn't he just ask his wife to slap a few temporary tattoos on and have a go at it.

Anyway, I think it's really fucked up considering that Sandra was helping him raise his daughter and put off on the two of them having kids of her own because she felt that adding another child to the family wouldn't be in the best interest of his daughter's emotions since the kid was already dealing with her parents nasty custody battle.
