With the incredible amount of money Wrestlemania brings to its host city each year, Variety.com
is reports that a staggering 14 cities are vying to host WWE's showcase event over the next 3 years. Wrestlemania brought over $50 million to the local economies of Orlando and Houston in 2008 and 2009 and around 60% of the fans who attended those shows traveled from other states to be there. The article contains quotes from various city officials gushing about the significance of their cities hosting Wrestlemania. According to Variety, Miami, Los Angeles, New York City, Detroit, Toronto, Tampa, Vancouver, New Orleans, St. Louis, Jacksonville, Orlando and Houston are now in the running to host Wrestlemania 28, 29 and 30. As reported earlier, Atlanta will host Wrestlemania 27 on 4/3/11.

Yep. There are great places to hang out at, shop, etc, but there are many fucked neighborhoods. lol

I'm glad that Atlanta gets it next year. [wishes Lita does something]

Hoping Toronto gets it for 28 and a city in CA for 29.

NY most likely gets XXX so that is fine by me.

Haha I'm glad someone else here finally understands that. NYC has its ugly parts. >_<

My one big chance to go to Wrestlemania is next year, as TN is too damn stubborned to even consider what WM can do for the state (Nashville and Knoxville have big enough arenas to hold WM, but Memphis does not. The FedEx Forum is far too small to hold a WM in my honest opinion.)

I thought MSG would be too small for WM but I guess there's a way to accommodate it.

I wish they hold one in Charlotte, NC at the Bobcats Stadium. I wish I was going to WM in Atlanta but there is no way.

I think NYC will get WM 30. Toronto WM 28 and one of the other cities WM 29.
