Do you find it hard to discpline children?

Do you find it hard to discpline Children?

From my 5+ years of working with kids, no it's not hard IMO. You will find those who will always challenge your authority. BUT their is always a way. Each child has their moment but I can handle it.

I love working with kids, considered being a teacher, but it's fun work, that's what i know, despite the screaming, yelling and the headache.

nah I dont find it hard. the hard part is just explaining what they did wrong. sometimes they dont understand because they are so young.

I realize now we aren't hard to discipline. My dad yelled at me for three hours and suddenly my attitude is so much better.

i cant stand kids...but luckily when i used to babysit my cousin, he was obdient

I'm never having kids, so I'll never really know. But, if you're a good person &/or parent, it shouldn't be. It's bad enough most parents today are dog shit anyways. For god's sake, it's WRONG to spank your kids anymore, just send them to time out so they can think about what they did wrong....oh yeah, from the way people are turning out, that did the job.

Just yesturday, I was listening to music at the park where my aunt lives, all of a sudden, this van pulls up & drops off like 6 kids...I was thinking..SHIT. Here they come, right at me. Of course, the fat ass mother couldn't get out of the car to spend time with them, watch them, or, jeez, what's that parents are suppose to do......supervise their kids?!?! she had to go home & sit on her ass for the rest of the day, even if one of the kids is lying in the park with their head cracked open because nobody was watching them. So, they're running all around me, I was on a swing....... but hey, getting kicked in the face didn't stop these shit kids. One of them tried to grab the chain of my swing, WHILE I WAS STILL ON IT. Seriously?! Unbelievable, it really is. They're already stupid, so early in life. Honestly, if one would have ran infront of my & say, my foot did connect with their face, I would care. It was to that point. But.....unfortunantly, it would have been my fault, because HEY, I put them infront of the swing, & they're BLIND.

It's not like the park was small either.

She drives me crazy but I love baby sitting her, she is scared of me too haha. When she does something bad I say "Give me your hand" and she runs because she knows I'm bout to spank her in the hand. So to answer the question, it can be done. My other brothers and sister (whom are between the ages of 9-14 are incredibly disrespectful but once I'm pissed they come correct )


Anywho I would love to have kids, obviously I might need to adopt one when the time is right, or meet a girl and become BFF's and she'll have my baby<3333

I don't think it's difficult to dicipline children. I do it with my nephew when I watch him sometimes. Kids hate have things that they love taken away from them, so if he misbehaves... bye bye toys, goodies and stuff like that.

I don't think children are worth the investment.

you guys make me sad lol. I really like working with kids, it is such a great experience sometimes. Is it hard work sometimes? Yeah sure. But i truly loved it and learned sooo much about myself through the proces.

With all the "I don't want any kids"...i mean, ya really nevah know, and i don't have kids of my own, but i mean, it is a really rewarding experience if you ask me.
Plus their are sooo many people who would love to but can't, yet it seems everyone is so quick to jump on the "Oh hell no i'm not having kids, i saw...this and this, that and that", band wagon, while their are people who would love to have kids, despite what they see and experience. I joke around when my little cousins act up and say "I'm not having kids" though i joke around, because i know not all kids are perfect and all need to be treated diffrently so you could truly understand their behavior.

Lol sorry maybe i'm going to far, i've just worked soo much with kids, being a coach, camp leader and seemingly mentor to soo many kids, it's kinda growing on me, the headache at the end of the day is always worth it.

But to each their own.

I've worked with kids alot as well. from preschool all the way up to teens. I enjoy it. i like seeing how their young minds work and helping them get a better understanding of the world.

I think it's what drives me to pursue my career of being a counselor for children.

it makes sense.

Personally, I think I'm about 75-25 on this. I like kids, but, I don't want any of my own. I've thought about the whole family thing before, but, meh... it isn't all that ideal for me.

If you're someone who wants to have a child, but, can't... that sucks! Not everyone who can have want to have, however. No one is obliged to make up for thpse or produce for those who can't reproduce.
