Well, this is a discussion that I think a lot of people have grief with and it's been seen for the past few years with Candice Michelle, Michelle McCool and more than recently Eve Torres.

But what's your take on the 'Trish Stratus' push and what exactly is wrong with it to you guys? I've never understood what's people's problems with taking a new girl and pushing her or giving her credit for her improvements and pushing her which is what they did with Trish Stratus when she returned, and took the sport seriously.

the problem is the majority of the women who get it cant wrestle worth a damn

plus when you focus a division around 1 girl and 1 girl only....what happens if she gets hurt?

you get clusterfuck matches like what we have seen on Raw recently.

the problem here is that they expect Eve to be like Trish when she's only wrestling two minute matches every week and being given no character development. Trish and indeed Candice had developed their characters well before they won the title so fans were able to get into them. so far Eve doesn't have much of a character

I have no problem at all with McCool because haters can hate but she is a good wrestler already and will only get better..

For girls like Candice and Eve it was/is just something new I guess to see them with the title.

Candice was decent to me. I thought her title reign was a good lenght and she didn't perform too crappy. I really liked her GAB title match with Melina and some of the Heat matches as well as her matches with Beth were great since they were allowed to go more than 3 minutes.

I am a fan of Eve so I also have no big problem with it. She is not completely crap like some people may feel and has proven she can improve a lot in the ring. As champ I expect her to grow even more.

I dont think the divison should be centered around 1 girl, it should be centered around every girl in that divison, every girl getting a chance.

Im happy Eve won the Divas title, someone different. I want to see different girls get pushed, someone besides Melina-Love her, Maryse, Michelle and Mickie.

Oh man, this is a good topic, but find I'm going to repeat myself again. I think I got into this in another topic somewhere, but I suppose I can brush up on it a little.

Ok, I JUST think, she's not as much of a hot shit as most people, or WWE makes her off to be. That's probably the core of it.

Next time something happends that has to do with this, I'll blow up, but right now, I can't really think on it to much.

Candice is a good example of what Vix is talking about. They pushed her like a mofo then she ended up getting injured.

And the thing about that is she is probably the worst of any who's gottent pushed... chick was a horrible wrestler. I couldn't bear watching her nearly break something time and again. What do you know... she did like three or four times. lmao
