Woman Bites Part of Man's Ear Off When He Calls Her Fat!

A Lincoln, Neb. woman proved how firmly she stands against personal insults Wednesday, after she bit off a part of a man's ear when he called her 'fat.'

Anna Godfrey, 21, was at a birthday party late Tuesday night (April 27) when she and a group of others got into an argument with two men.

Police spokeswoman Katie Flood said one of the men, 24-year-old Christian Bandiola, made the seemingly derogatory remark about Godfrey's physical appearance before leaving the party on foot.

Godfrey chased Bandiola, tackled him and bit him on the right side of his face.
The clench was strong enough to tear off a chunk of cartilage and skin from Bandolia's ear.

After Bandolia received what one witness called a "Tyson," referring to the 1997 boxing match during which Mike Tyson bit off a portion of Evander Holyfield's ear, he was taken to a Lincoln hospital.

Police were later called to the emergency room to interview Bandolia, who identified Godfrey as the biter.

Police say insults were being shouted throughout the argument, however, it was Bandolia's remark of 'fat' that triggered the woman's hungry rage.

Godfrey was later arrested for felonious assault and was in jail as of Wednesday, April 28. It is not clear whether she has an attorney.

Bandiola, who lost a portion of his ear measuring 1/2-inch by 3/4-inch, will require a "Holyfield," or a plastic surgery procedure to repair the wound.
