| nurse who works at the Allegheny County Jail was charged with sexual abuse of inmates over a period of several months.
John Johnson Jr. of Greentree is accused of assaulting seven female inmates between 2009 and 2010.
The victims reported to police that Johnson would bribe them with candy and soda to keep quiet about the incidents.
One of the inmates admitted to having consensual relationship with Johnson, but others said he acted without their permission.
Johnson faces seven charges of institutional sexual assault, three counts of aggravated indecent assault, and several other charges.
He is currently being held in the jail where he was formerly employed. | |
