Confusion Regarding WWE Women’s Champion Following Last Night’s SD

The WWE website currently lists Layla as the new WWE Women’s Champion. The tidbit regarding Layla reads “With the help of Michelle McCool in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match, Layla was able to get the pinfall on Beth Phoenix to claim the Women’s Championship on SmackDown.” There was some confusion last night since Michelle McCool had earned the title shot and Layla scored the pin over Beth.

With the WWE Babyface Diva roster being very thin, it would be a great idea from the WWE to turn Layla face and have her feud with Michelle McCool in the near future.

How are the Babyfaces thin? They have Tiffany & Kelly as faces, Rosa is still unknown since Vickie screwed her over. And with Serena not Wrestling,

It's basicly Kelly & Tiffany vs. Layla & Michelle.....it's pretty even if you ask me.

On Raw same story, Natalya is the Serena, not used as a wrestler.

They have The Bella's, Gail & Eve and Heels Maryse, Alicia & Jillian...well mayve it isn't 50/50, but don't see the "thin" they are refering too.

Layla and Michelle were defeating Mickie and Beth in a tag match, so I can't see Tiffany and Kelly as much of a threat xD. If they were smart, they'd somehow bring Savannah up to the roster and have her engage in a fued with Laycool. Savannah is one of the more capable divas, and could really benefit from this opportunity.

Though I still predict Victoria will be back and fueding with them

God why Savanah, i can't stand her, really, she irritates me tbh. I'd perferably like to see her get the pink slip, we don't need a poor man's Gail Kim, who sucks.

Lol at poor man's Gail Kim! If WWE can have Kelly, Rosa, etc on their brand, Savannah will fit in perfectly. At least she knows what shes doing in the ring lol.

Nah i've seen her matches, she's usually guided through her spots..i can't stand her..she's just bleh.

I swear she starts wrestling they release Gail Kim, because there is only room for one Asian, and we already know they picked Kelly over Gail before, what would stop them now?

I think they could caplitize on this and break LayCool up. When Melina gets better I will like for her to come back to SD.

who knows maybe this feud wont be as plain as the last one
last time it was Michelle get all the advantages til she got the title THEN melina started geting something, but finally got drafted to raw.

im not all excited about a Melina/Michelle match...im not really THAT excited about as Layla/Melina match...cos its happened only a year or so ago. But if it was a face Layla and Heel Melina, it would be sometihng new
