I have done it. and would do it again. I never had an issue with it. It's great for getting to know someone because you spend so much time talking over anything else.

it worked for me. I had some amazing relationships over the 'net....better than the jerks i dated offline, honestly.

I need physical touch, and no I'm not talking about sex.

i think its as pointless as distance relationships

yeah I can understand that need for touch. i love to cuddle myself and hold hands. that's the big downside for me. I just like that you get the time to really know a person because you talk so much.


I've met a few married couple who all started off dating online, which is why i dont think it's a bad idea. It's win some, lose some...

Anyways i won't say i have had any online relationships, it's mostlu flings, have some c2c fun, it gets old goodbye. Have i had online crushes?? Yeah sure, i either A. Tell them, but basicly tell them it's a crush, nothing more or B. Tell myself don't waste my time.

Ironicly it's the ones i c2c with that i just don't feel any connection with, it's all about the forplay and nothing more. So getting to know them is like bleh. Plus those are the ones who love sweet talking you.

I have this friend, i've known him for 4 years now, for 3 years i had no idea what he looked like. We are cool friends and talk as much as we possibly can, i've never heard his voice and he's never heard mine, i've never seen him face to face, he's never seen me. BUT for some reason we are the closest friends ever and we could talk on MSN 6 hours straight about everything and anything, and don't get sexual. I've talked to him through his problems, he talked me through mine.

It comes down to how well you get to know a person, i've met some amazing people online, some i've kept in contact with for 2+ years, some who just drifted away. Me and that friend i was talking about freaked out when our third wheel went all crazy and threatend to kill himself and a whole lot a crazy shit. We were freaking out together, Messaging on forums, Myspace, MSN, until we got a response 2 hours later. And because i know of his life and his history and known him for almost 2 years, when jared came on MSN freaking out about what he said, tears fell from my eyes as i tried to get a hold of them.

Oddly he reminds me of Dead for some reason, takes no shit, and bad ass. He thought me a lot about being the bitch i am today, because i will admit at one point in my life i was a push over.Anyways that's besides the point.

Guess through that whole story my answer is no.

But you get to meet amazing people though. That is a plus.

But i know my connection to all, i know where i know all my friends from, all 238 of them....well except 10....out of the entire list i don't know 10, i don't know where i added from or why they added me

That's one of the reasons why I don't do it, also, being in a relationship isn't that important. If I find someone, I want it to be in person.
