Report: WWE Smackdown Star In Line For a Major Push

It's being reported that WWE Smackdown star Kane is expected to receive a huge push in the coming weeks. One source within WWE says Vince McMahon was extremely pleased with his promo on Smackdown and the reaction he received. Although there were rumors regarding Kane’s disinterest in winning the world title, apparently those rumors were false and Kane himself denied the claims.

I bet it was Kane who took him out and he's doing the whole "blaming everyone else route." That would make for a great storyline.

EDIT....and wtf IF the rumours of his disinterest werent true....then how come he aint a multiple time champ now, like he deserves
i mean why start pushing him now he's past 40 when he isnt as good as he was, when you coulda been pushing him in his mid 30's at his prime.
eh well still, if Kane can be a world champ....and Layla as womens champ, im just rolling in goodness

Everyone knew that it was highly likely they were going the 'HHH attacks HBK storyline route' so that is really not a shock if he turns out to be the 'mystery' attacker.

I don't really care for Kane but he does deserve a real world title reign [WWE/WHT not no crap ECW..].

I guess we will have to wait and see how this push goes. Things could always change for poor Kane! :-X

same for me really, well his first year without his mask he was ok, because he was booked as a crazed mental unstopable force....to me he mainly started becoming less interesting when he teamed with Big Show, and as soon as he started jobbing to Rey i just felt he had no hope.

but the promo on SD was pretty darn good tbh

Kane should have won the world title in 2003 or 2004 since he was great then.

After that it was downhill.

Sure he won the ECW title but he is better as a heel imo.

thats it, there are two main times where i coulda seen him winning the title, back in 2002 when the whole Katie Vick thing, at No Mercy that woulda been a great time, cos he was over as hell as a face.

OR when he lost his mask, he had soo much momentum

Hells Yeah!! He deserves it. Good on WWE for wanting to push him.

Hopefully they give him the title smile

lol apparntly Kane has refused time and time again to end the streak, even thought Taker has asked for it to happen so many times.

but it would be nice, third time is the charm as they say

and even though both guys are past their prime, they can still put on good performances
