Major Spoiler Regarding the TNA World Championship

TNA called for Rob Van Dam to retain the TNA World Championship at the upcoming TNA Victory Road pay-per-view event in the Fatal Four-Way Match main event, there is now major talk of booking Abyss to win the championship. Hulk Hogan is said to be the one person in particular pushing for Abyss to be awarded the belt.

If this indeed happens, that would mean that the Abyss vs. Hogan match at TNA Bound for Glory would be for the TNA World Championship. This would also mean that Van Dam's scheduled match with Kurt Angle at the same event would then be for the number-one contendership.

No final decision has been made on this yet, but either Abyss or Van Dam will leave TNA Victory Road as the champion.

I was happy when I read that Abyss would be champ (he's never been right?) but then when I read the part about Hogan fighting for the title at BFG all that happiness disappeared. I really don't want Hogan anywhere near the TNA Title.

Abyss was NWA Champion in 2006, he beat Sting and lost to Christian 2 months later

And wonder who'll dethrown the monster...The God Hogan of course -_- Why do they have to ruin RVD's perfect reign? RVD vs Angle for the title would go down as great. How does that get shafted for Abyss vs Hogan? :S

TNA's main event scene is just a waste of time. I'll just continue to tune it out lol

Abyss was actually one of the best dudes in the company. He really fit that "He can have a good match with anyone" mode that people like AJ and AMW had.

But that doesn't mean I want to see Abyss vs Hogan. It will be a redux of Summerslam 2005, but with a lot more blood and a 300lb man instead of a 200lb man bumping around like a tool.

I want to see Abyss take the title but Him against Hogan? Heck no!

That's because Abyss was enjoyable. He went in there and ate the other dude as an appetizer until someone like AJ came along to go "Wait just a f'n minute.." Who in the hell can enjoy an ugly, 6'8", 350lb guy who "looks" like a monster but whines and cries about hang nails and shit? Russo made this character too complicated to the point there is no character.

Besides, what does he have to whine about? He brings the weapons and shit.. And he has been paired with some hot ass over the past year (Lauren/Chelsea).
