| World Wrestling Entertainment issued a request for agents and managers to submit female actresses to film slots as future WWE Divas, requesting they be sent to WWE's Kristin Prouty, who works in the company's Los Angeles office on different entertainment projects. The casting process will be ongoing through this October.
The company is pretty much seeking some new faces to supplement the current female roster and will be doing specific casting sessions in the next few months in New York City, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, among other cities. The company will offer contracts to specific women (likely developmental deals) with the breakdown stating the deals would be negotiated, "specific to each woman."
The breakdown for the Divas, according to solicitation issued by Prouty noted they were looking for all ethnicities and that Divas would be involved in different aspects of WWE programming, including wrestling, dancing, singing, interviews and more.
I for one find this pretty dumb. They have so many Diva's they could use for this and yet they want to hire more?
Dancing?? Singing?? Wtf... anyway;

That's who they could put in those places. Why they need singing and dancing, I have not a clue.. they want to make a cartoon or something? For pete sakes!

| That is stupid..
At first I thought they were really asking agents to submit video of their female wrestlers and the wwe would look into signing them but noo.. Of course not. They just have to make some model ho become a wrestler when there are plenty of pretty women who are great wrestlers already!

It just annoys me. AGREED. They dont need any more divas. They need to use the ones they have and use them PROPERLY. Calling up 1 or 2 from Devlopmental will be fine if they are ready, but hiring random models is not needed. They need to hire girls WITH wrestling experience. No wonder the divisons are crap.  | |

| weird, they hire a bunch of models and when they finally learn to wrestle they get rid of them in favour of more models. hopefully this won't go anywhere or the girls will be sent to developmental for proper training first | |
