Lita Fun Fact

Lita was a four time womens champion, and was seen to spend 7 years in the company. But in reality, it was a lot less than that.

2000- We'll count this as a full year
2001- Full year
2002- We'll say inactive for the whole year
2003- We'll say half year
2004- We'll say half year because of pregnancy angle
2005- One month lol
2006- We'll say half a year

Overall, that means that in her seven year career, she only spent about 3.5/4 years actually wrestling.

Whereas someone like Trish Stratus spent about 5.5/6 years wrestling.

i think if WWE knew they werent going to sign Chyna, as she didnt want to be demoted to just the divas devision. WHY not have Chyna lose the title to Lita at Judegement day, or have them have another match at KOR? because at that time Chyna didnt fit in with the divas, because she was so unbelievably bigger then Molly, Ivory and Trish so them winning wouldnt look right or natural...the only divas i saw having a chance against Chyna was Lita and Jacqueline..because Lita was like the second biggest behind Chyna (purely due to her height) and Jackie was a strong woman..so one of those coulda won the title

Next to Lita, Molly was the closest to defeating Chyna.

i wouldnt say so Mollys face persona was kinda weak...and she wasnt booked like a strong techincal wrestler that would win all the time....she just looked like another diva kinda like Trish was looked

Lita and Jacqueline at the time of Chyna as champ where the only ones in my mind that seemed legit challengers, due to their sucess also against men...Ivory had a few battles with Jackie against Dean Malenko, but after being squashed by Chyna, she lost all crediblity

Chyna should have put Lita over at Judgment day and have Lita hold the womens title and Trish get it in that SS 6 pack and turn heel or have someone else in that 6 pack match like Ivory win it and Trish win it off of her.

This makes me dislike her even more for some reason, she sure did do alot during her "three years" still hella overrated!

yeah Molly was a lot tougher than she looked, she's a former power lifter. i would have loved to see Chyna vs Jacqueline. Jackie deserved at least one more title reign. it is a little surprising that Lita had a four year gap between her two title reigns but she said she didn't need the title then as she had the fans behind her. i'm just wondering what would have happened if she hadn't blown her ACL in 2005, who would she have feuded with then?

It would be unlikely that either one of them could decide that Trish wins the title because of Lita's injury.

I think that was exactly the case,Trish's victory came about with Lita's injury because I don't think they would have let that feud build up for so long and give Lita a one month reign.Of course they could have opted for Lita to retain the title by having Trish using up the 5 count and getting DQed like what Mickie did at Backlash. But I believe that the initial plan was for Lita to retain.

Lita would of held the belt much more if it wasnt for her being hurt, and i think Trish wouldnt have 7 title reigns if Lita didnt get hurt.

Lita and Trish are the two best Divas to ever be in the WWE, from how hard they worked to get better in the ring.

This actually got pretty long but it highlights things. No need to read if you don't have time on your hands like I did.

I think she actually did more of a managerial type thing with whoever she would of happen to be with at the time throughout her career such as Essa, The Hardys or Edge. She started out mimicking Essa's moves which automaticly gave you the idea she wasn't going to be like every other female that walked in. Though, it would have been even more of a bigger deal now because of most of the shit WWE's got now. At least then, they had somewhat of wrestlers. But again, I'm talking in fiction because WWE is NOTHING like it used to be. Anways, while she was still with Essa, she had maybe one that I can remember where it was a one on one match with Jacqueline for the title, which was her very first single's match in the WWE. The rest were his matches where she would manage him to the ring, mimick the moves but that was cool enough just to see she did have some wrestling skill or ability with a bonus of it being unique one for a female. Other then that, she had a small feud which involved Chyna and Edde with Essa with some tag matches. Once she left Essa and went with the Hardys, she had a ton of more matches up until she was injured of course putting a pause on her career for a year. But she still did alot of 'acompanied to the ring' buisness for both Matt and Jeff. She probably did more of that than actual one on one matches, BUT there was also alot of tag matches she did then which in my opinion count as a match. After she got injured she did pretty well with competing every week in matches because 'Team Xtreme' or Matt and Jeff were no longer together at that point and with the fact she was in RAW and Matt was on SMACKDOWN. Which in other words, she didn't have anyone to manage and could compete weekly in matches. Until they had to start this Kane shit, that was by far the worst storyline they had her do, it was boring and just plain horrible. That pretty much took her out of wrestling action for almost half a year because she was "pregnant" and to busy screaming and running from Kane who in my opinion isn't the least bit scary, just incredibly ugly and annoying. Once she had "lost the baby" she wrestled for a bit again until ANOTHER injury threw her out of any in ring wrestling for probably a year because they then had her all of a sudden have some sort of affection for Kane. Thus leading to the Edge buisness where they pretty much had her act like everybody's HO when she only went with Edge. Her job from that point for around the next year was to do nothing but follow Edge around and manage his matches. I think her first match was finally in 2006 with Edge in a tag match against Cena and Maria. I was actually suprised to see her wrestle again because of the shit storyline she's had for so long. I think after that she started to wrestle more weekly, even if it wasn't every week, more than nothing in the past year. Once she won the championship from Mickie, she started to really wrestle weekly again in a way taking Edge out of the picture and the "sexual slut" role away from her and allowed her to just wrestle up until she retired. I think they took her heel role to the worst and most dumb extreme. In all, I believe she did actually wrestle less matches but she was on weekly always doing something rather it just be a promo or a management.

Since you were refering to Trish, I don't HATE her, I just believe WWE really liked her hense why she got so many pushes and still holds the record for most women's championship gains. I thought her heel role was the best of any of the female wrestlers because it wasn't just being obsessed with yourself with a stupid attitude. I thought Trish was a decent wrestler towards the end of her career during and after she turned heel, but she wasn't always a wrestler like Amy was, she was a model turned wrestler but a good one because she actually did wanted to wrestle and actually to her, probably became more of a wrestler than a model. Not like today's WWE backstage hooker with the name Kelly Kelly.

I agree with what you said, however I believe Trish wouldn't have as many reigns had Lita not got injured/ and they handled the Chyna situation better.

Lita would've defeated Chyna for the title, and was supposed to fued with Jazz. It could then be questioned that she would've fueded with Victoria/Molly instead of Trish.

In 2004 if she didn't get injured, she wouldn't have lost the title to Trish. She would likely have had the storyline with Mickie and not Trish.

First off, I had alot of little mistakes in that, I always rush my typing. I re-read it and corrected them. Sorry about that.

Also, Lita and Edge had faced CENA and Maria, not EDGE and Maria by the way.

Right, I forgot to mention that. I would have like to have seen it without Amy having her injury. I also think she would have had a better career. But, even before that Trish started to get somewhat of a push, but like you said, once she was gone, it gave WWE and the fans time to really give Trish the attention. In my opinion, Amy's career popularity wise, kind of started to go down hill after the Kane storyline. It's probably just me, but she kind of started to lose popularity at one point even before the Edge buisness. Fans didn't really give her that much of a 'pop' as they used to. Maybe it was just the storyline and how boring they had her be, but who knows. Obviously, both her injuries were just unfortunate for both her and her career.

About the Chyna thing, both Chyna and Molly said Amy was hard to work with behind the scenes until after her injury or something like that. What happend with the Chyna deal?

Triple H/Chyna broke up as Stephanie/Triple H got together, had an affair. Chyna was really upset and I think caused problems, leading to her departure. Either that or she couldn't work with Stephanie.

I don't think Trish was getting that much of a push while Lita was there. Lita always squashed her in matches, and she wasn't made out to be anything credible.

Ha wow really, I wonder what I would have been like if that afair was made public. Though, the one with Amy was because of Matt's cry baby ass ( this coming from somewhat of a Matt fan, I thought he was ok back in the day ) he had to tell all these little ass holes on the internet who had nothing to do with it, but they sure comment on it.

Right, so once Amy was gone, perfect chance to push Trish. But, again like I said, the company really liked her.
