Well, I read the book and then had the opportunity to see a local performing arts center version of the play......they are completely different. I would LOVE to see a movie made, but I want it to be based off of the book, not the play.

Well the movie is coming out in 2011 i heard. A movie is in the works. I've learned Movies based on books are never accurate. I learned that with "The Lovely Bones"

True, most movies don't follow the book very well, but I hope the movie at least takes the book's story instead of the play's. I was VERY surprised with how different they were.
