Lindsay Lohan's mother Dina Lohan says her daughter won't die young. Mom also claimed in a recent interview that Lindsay is moving from California back to New York. The chatty mom also claimed the judge in her daughter's case has been "fired" for being too harsh.
Dina appeared on NBC TV's The Today Show to give her family's first interview since Mean Girl's star Lindsay was jailed and ordered into rehab.
But rather than speaking of regret and lessons learned, Dina instead spent the interview blaming everyone but the Lohans - repeatedly criticizing the judge for "hard-balling" her daughter.
"We may have a case against the state of California," she said, suggesting they might sue. Insisting the star is doing "great", she also said Lindsay would be out of rehab soon and was ready to move on. "She's grown up considerably," Dina said, saying she was different because of "age, living life and growing up".
"She's already through it," she said. "It's all blown out of proportion. Lindsay is now focusing on charity and helping the next 'victim' of tabloids."
She accused the judge of going overboard with the punishment and added in another segment: "Actually the judge is being recused.
"We have a new judge on the case, it just happened two days ago. I think she went overboard and played serious hardball with Lindsay. "She's fired, basically."
