LATEST ON WWE'S SEARCH FOR NEW DIVAS

WWE issued an updated casting breakdown for new potential Divas. The company is now looking for women ages 18-25 only. There will be a casting call next week in Las Vegas with additional calls in New York City and Los Angeles, as well as other cities.

I dont think the DS is back, I think they are just finding "models" to put in FCW to try to be wrestlers.

It be nice if they hired more females with WRESTLING experience. There are some pretty ones out there if they just look.

They best not be bringing back the DS, that was a waste of time, but the 2007 one wasnt bad since it was on dotcom only. But NO MORE DIVA SEARCHES.

i should go down there and try out again for the hell of it. They'll send me right back out the door but still it'd be funny

I tried out in the diva search that Layla won. (2006) the very last one they had.

i didnt even make it past the first round.

but it was still nice to try.

if i find some people up for a roadtrp i'd try to go to NY to try out again.

i forgot she was a DS winner....they never seen to mention it like they did Layla.


but yeah i tried out in the 2006 one since i had just turned 18. figured if i got in there early I'd have years to work with WWE and get better.

but they said i wasnt what they were looking for. oh well.

my dream is to valet...not wrestle.

but right now my focus is on school. I graduate next summer and maybe then i'll consider it. I'll only be 24.

but back when i was 18 i wasnt sure what i wanted to do with my life so i figured, if by some longshot i got into WWE. i could save that money and once they give me the boot, go back to school.

getting my bachelor's will only take me a year and a half so by then i'll be 25/26...I may seriously get into traning as I get closer to graduating.

nowadays though my dream is the indy circuit. Not really jumping to get in WWE like I used to be....cept maybe to hang around LL lol

What was the process like Vixen? Its pretty cool to have a member that tried out.

think American Idol tryouts

pretty much along those lines. You sign in and hand them your paper application. you get a number and wait to be called. a few of the talent guys walked around the waiting area just "shooting the breeze" with us and chatting about nothing.

when you get called up they ask you for what maodeling and/or fitness training you had (i had none lol). They asked you about the rigorous traveling and such and if you think you could handle being away from family/friends. They ask you why you want to be a diva and let you cut a promo to see how you work on the mic. I cut a short promo because i was nervous and kinda at a loss for words. But without any previous training and other personal reasons...i was turned down.

but if you saw all the grgeous women that were there...yeah I knew I wasnt going to make it lol.

I entered the DS in 2004 online and I didnt even get past entry. I was 22. They never emailed me back or NOTHING. Congrats Vixen for making it further then I have. You should have made it further you are so pretty.

thanks Janine..if we lived closer i'd say let's go try out again together for the hell of it.
