Discuss Xena Warrior Princess in here!

I am a hardcore fan of this show, I really love it! It has epic finales, a combination of action/comedy/touching moments, and really has deep moralshuge themes, which I notice many shows lack these days. A great set of actors/resses- Lucy, Renee, Hudson, Claire, Kevin Smith. Call me a mark, but I think they are the best actors ever! lmao.

i used to love mondays on Sci-fi when they would show marathons of it.

I loved Xenia's daughter Livia. She was a bad bitch. Ares was such a tool but a hotty.

I liked this show so much more than Hercules. Hercules was ok for a while, but it became utterly boring. I hated his sidekick.

I liked Xena because it wasn't one of those shows where the woman was just there to be a loyal, beautiful and defenseless - and you had to save her ass all the time. Xena was fucking HAWT and she didn't hesitate to whoop ass. Her friend was hot too! She was a good fighter, but she wasn't as strong mentally as Xena. To add a little bit to the show... they teased with the idea that they were lesbians lol.

I agree. Although I like Hercules and it had its share of funny moments, Kevin Sorbo just can't act for the life of him, and Iolus made this show watchable. Notice how the best episodes featured someone from Xena lol.

And I agree Vixen, Joxer was marvelous. Its so amazing how the writers inserted this wannabe warlord who looked to be killed in that episode into the swing of things, becoming one of the most popular and loved characters, when his background is unveiled.

How do you guys still remember the names of the show characters?

i remember Aphrodite...she was such a ditz but she cracked me up.

Hercules was one of my fave shows too. It was pretty funny.


omg i still remember everything from her intro!!! and yeah i still to this day think Xena and Gabby are lesbians. I remember when they were crucified, died and went to heaven. the very last episode of Xena still makes me cry to this day. I never wanted it to end.

A show that I like that comes on now is Legend of the Seeker. Before I watched I thought it was some Harry Potter-type shit. lmao THANK GAWD it isn't.

If you like "Legend of the Seeker"...you might Like Merlin, I LOVE THAT SHOW!!!

Always wanted to see "Legend of the Seeker" but since i heard its getting canceled, so i was like why bother.

Cancelled? No surprise! Most shows that come on these days get shut down in their first few seasons.

I've never heard of Merlin.

Well it airs on one of the BBC's here, i believe it used to air on NBC for the first season, but got moved to SciFi for the second season due to low ratings.

I'm currently awaiting the third season. I downloaded season 1 & 2 completly lol. I'm like a HUGE fan lol.

Actually when i heard about the Legend of the Seeker and was like. Damn i should download this...i heard the new season is going to be the last...i was like..."Dammit" lol. Still might download it eventually though. It looked interesting.

Of course I know all the names, I'm a Xena-maniac! We got Ares, Aprohdite, Athena, Minya, Cyane, Callisto, Alti, Caesar, Artemis, Hope, Cyrene, Discord, Cupid, Amarice, Yakut, Eli, Michael...Oh how I could go on :D

No one inside the networks even understand it. I heard the ratings were ok for it and the scenes were awesome I mean what made 0 sense to me is after then announced it was canceled they seemed to even promote it more. I mean they had inside behind the scenes stuff going all on with it after it was canceled and I think that would of been bring in more people who seen it.

That's odd.

Once I began watching the show, I remember seeing commercials advertising the show pretty much all week like you said. Then... NO SHOW? Wtf?
