Team 3D Contract expires with TNA. WWE members pitching to signing them

As reported on earlier this week, Team 3D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon) did not take part in the TNA iMPACT! TV tapings this past Monday and Tuesday in Orlando as their contracts with the company have expired. They are not booked for the No Surrender PPV next Sunday (September 5), but were slated to take part in the Bound for Glory PPV in October.

Various sources within TNA are expecting they will re-sign with the company. It should be noted that there were some lower tier individuals within WWE pitching for the return of The Dudley Boyz leading to a DVD release. Keep in mind this was only something pitched as many in the company still have negative feelings towards Bubba, but have always thought Devon was a nice guy and easy to work with.

I hate the Dudleys.

I seem to have a different opinion to you lot. I think WWE should rehire The Dudleys and use them as a tag team version of Goldust or Finlay: trainers to younger workers.

If they resign with TNA they'll probably get lost in the shuffle and if they want to be a top tag team they will have to accept that they're gonna have to do it in the minor leagues. If they want to stay in the big leagues they should go to WWE to help train new workers.

Sounds like a good idea, but there are ways that they can work around that.

They could do that, though.

WWE would never let the Dudleyz take a backseat as trainers..they're too hot a commodity not to toss tag tam gold on just to gain viewers

They would dprobably place gold on them, but I doubt more folks would watch WWE just to see them... not much more anyway.

Actually they have a much better thing goin on in TNA IMO. In wwe yeah, they could act as trainers, but where does that leave their wrestling school? Their students are getting work with TNA. Rob Terry, Jesse Neal, Rosie LottaLove, something WWE will never do. TNA is willing to use their students to some capasity and WWE is not. Plus they won't have the time to run their school if they are constantly traveling with the WWE.

The only way I can see them being useful is doing backstage stuff in the WWE because lrd knows those children on the roster need some guidance.....as if they didn't already have enough Legends walking around to get help FROM, idiots...
