If I started my own wrestling company.

I wanted to share some things I'd do to get my own company off the ground and running to where TNA has been able to get to starting from scratch. It sucks, but they've come some ways in their short time around. So here it is:

Bring in some guys who are seasoned in the world of pro wrestling independently.

Tryout matches: I'd hold two tryout sessions at a low cost every month during our first six months. (one at the beginning and middle of each month.)

Once there's a determined roster, we work on some looks and gimmicks. The talent, the staff and I all chip in with ideas for what's best. Once that's done, we have a few exhibition shows (discount price) to see how well the crowd reacts to the stars.

Merchandising: After letting the fans become acclimated to the stars, we sell some t-shirts, hats and a few more items you can get at wrestling shows.

Hold a few more workout sessions as we continue to have our shows.

Revise the roster to keep the product fresh. Those with best reponse and ring-work stay.

At this point, we begin our emphasis on more storylines to gage interest. Simple stuff.

Promoting is our next huge step. Promote to more locally in and around the city hoping gain more fans.


Take the rest from there and see where the future takes us as a company.
