Just a variation of the Superman archetype, the power of the Silver Age Superman with the mentality of Dirty Harry/RoboCop-brutal (but rarely fatal unless necessary) towards evil, inflexible in saving others, devoted in bringing what's fair and right to every living thing in existence.

Redoing my original answer: I'd be an anti-hero character, me only superpowered and able to make a real difference. I would be pursuing my own vision of justice unswayingly, savagely executing violent and overall dangerous individuals all over the globe from serial killers to politicians as well as generally harass and threaten others (if not everyone) to stay in line or they would have to deal with me. This aggressive mentality will more than likely lead me to be feared, hated, disliked, and wanted by various law enforcement and government agencies which is cool because I save lives whether they like it or not and they don't have balls to do what needs to be done like I do...

I'd want to be a Wolverine type character. Mainly for the power to heal himself, but also cos he has awesome facial hair.
