He failed because he's had as much training for that type of combat as I have. Sure, he's been training, but it takes years of training to be able to handle that. At least in Brock Lesnar's case, he had his amteur wrestling background to fall back on - same for Lashley (though he hasn't had nearly yhe amount of success as Brock.)

Interesting. I read in an interview recently that Batista had that he would not be returning to WWE cos there's "nothing bubblegum" about him. He was saying that John Cena is kid friebdly and he is not so he would get lost in the shuffle under a PG regime.

Odd, didn't he leave immediately after a World Title reign?

I remember him saying that when he was still with the company. He didn't like the direction of the company and how it was becoming too kid-friendly. (paraphrasing)
