If I were a Billionaire...

I was listening to Travie McCoy's song "Billionaire" and started thinking of what I'd do if I were one. I honestly have no clue; I'd do a lot, but nothing specific comes to mind atm.

Having said that, what would you do if you were a billionaire?

I'd build an empire.

There are many things I would do. I actually have a long list of stuff I’ve dreamed of doing if I ever had the money.

1. Financially support a Cancer Foundation. Cancer has been a huge part of my life, I would do anything in my power to help find ways to treat them.
2. I would start up my Scholarship foundation to help students who come from a less then fortunate families. I would help at least 5 students a year.
3. I’d finish up my school and focus on how to keep my money rolling lol.
4. I would love to start up my own broadcast network and develop shows and stuff. Now that I think of it, I’d offer Shimmer a TV deal.
5. I would want to build schools and housing for children in third world countries.
6. I would put a pool in my yard. It has been a child hood dream.
7. I would financially support both my parents, they have done more then I could ever imagine.

Off the top of my head, those are at the top of my list.

I'd buy a few apartment buildings
I'd buy a few houses
I'd buy stock in Microsoft, Apple, and WWE.
Then I'd hire Suze Orman to help me manage the rest.

Something else i always wanted to do. Rent them out and live off that lol. Me and my friend are seriously considering going in business together and do that. Buy houses fix them up and rent them out.

That's what I'd do, that way I know I'd have a steady income every month. and since I'd be a billionaire, I'd be able to hook those apartments and houses up! Everything would be stainless steel, and they'd all be fully furnished, I'd also have some for low income residents.

I'd buy into TNA and use that pull to get on TNA tv as The Pope's valet.

i'd buy a house in Florida to stay at when i'm doing TNA tapings and i'd buy a house near their TNA territory....so i could spend my off days training.

I'd fly to Canada and snag Hailey...then fly overseas and grab Rated X and Kevin...then we'd head to the UK and all of us would party with LL and take tons of pics.

Then i'd settle in Chicago to visit my hubby, Tank.

What would you do for your daughter Vix?

Tbh, I don't know what I'd do with all that money. I'd definitely start by buying a house & I'd help my family out, other than that I'm not sure

she'd be with me getting home-schooled. I dont trust people with her honestly and if i had the time she'd be home-schooled right now.

I don't blame you. If I could've I would've been home schooled as well

I'd help out my family financially as well as contribute funds to medical research - even children's organizations.

I'd work on that project that idea I mentioned a month or so ago of helping people get on their feet.

Travel to destinations such as Tokyo, Australia... maybe Melborne, second trip to Disney World, Massechussettes to see my beloved Red Sox & Patriots, Las Vegas and, London (amongst others.)

if you go to Japan you can buy authentic Japanes manga and weapons like samurai swords xD

Lol...sorry but i wouldn't want to be home schooled......My school days were rough....but i don't regret any of them what so ever. It helped built character.....it helped made me who I am. Why would i want to change me?

Dunno, the thought of home schooling....not my cup of tea.

I hated school. being surrounded by morons who only wanted to joke around and get attention. and then other kids who just didnt catch on to things as quickly as i did. It annoyed me having to wait for them to understand the material.

i would've preferred to be at home learning at my own pace and not being bothered. my mom would never let me be home-schooled though. she wouldnt even let me skip a grade to graduate early...

right now..my local school districts are failing bigtime compared nationwide to other districts. My daughter is better off at home with me. She's already reading and writing..something many preschoolers here dont know how to do yet..and that's just from me sitting with her and reading to her and helping her every day. she hasnt even started Pre-K yet...she starts later this week... but they say she's beyond prepared for it. I worry being around other kids and learning at their pace might just slow her down and frustrate her...i dont want her feeling like i did in school.

but i digress...sadly i dont have time to home-school her so she has to go to public school for the time being atleast.

In retrospect, my experience wasn't all that great. At the time, I was kinda glad to be home-schooled because I didn't have to go to school. My teacher was a slacker, didn't really learn much from him. That aside, I missed out on certain experiences that you can only get from going to school. The thing that I got positive from it was becoming less timid.

Not saying that home-schooling isn't for everyone, just pointing out some cons.

I would actually do the same. In this town I'm living in is this building I grew up in. It's got a lot of history with the older people, like My father and His friends. Right now it's slowly being destroyed by the punk's that try to "run" this town but all there doing is getting a train run on them in jail.. Hahaha, I would probably by that building, fix it up and put nice respectful family's in it that need a nice home.

And I've always wanted to own My own small business so I would probably open up a couple to help the community and economy.

and paying taxes would mean that I am BALLIN' so I'd like to be a tax payer. Lol.. and I'd get Me a model wife!

Pretty much agree with what you said. My school years were no cup of tea i can assure you that....but i don't regret it. I actually talked to most my class from 12 year ago, we all said, we were stupid kids, since one of the girls said she didn't want to come to our renion because..."She doesn't want to relive that hell all over again" we were like...uhm why not? We were kids and stupid....plus some of them have kids and should stop being child-ish about the things we did as kids...which is true. I mean i was teased, but really, which kid wasn't?

People in my city still harrass me about stuff from when i was younger. I ended up moving all the way to the other side of town to get away from it.

i would've been better off at home alone.

anyway..let's try to keep this on topic guys...we can always make a thread about homeschooling in the debate/world news section
