| Were you ever given a nickname you didn't like?
Like me, my Dad's last name is "Lucas", my parents were never married and i got my mom's last name and to this day on my birth certificate...where my dad's name is supposed to be it says "Unknown" LMAO...I'm a fatherless child lol.
Anyways my dad is a very well known man in our community...so my whole life i've been called "Lucas" or "Lucas son" or "Kenchi Son" (Kenchi was my Dad's nickname)
I hated it because for starters.... I was NOT a Lucas...I was supa dupa happy i had my mom's last name....and secondly I am my own person dammit lol.
I couldn't imagine going through my life known as "Kevin Lucas" ...it's WAY to simple. | |
