About two days ago I was thinking about when I first started high school. The kids I hung out with weren't exactly good kids, but I got along with them. They cut class. Smoked weed. Two of them had been left back. A group of japanese kids from some gang almost mistook us for some kids that had taken out one of their own. After this incident and an incident in the school cafeteria where I pimp-slapped some kid who threw food at me when in actuality it was one of my 'friends' that did it; there was talk of establishing a gang. Not the type where we'd go out beating the shit out of people for no reason, but one where we'd just chill and have each other's backs. The problem for me was just earlier in the year, a cousin of mine was in the same type of gang. When he wanted out, his 'boys' beat the shit out of him. I ended up getting kicked out of that school and started another. I only saw one of those kids a few more times afterward. This might've been a blessing in disguise because I could just as easily have gotten caught up in the same bullshit that my cousin did.

Yes i do, everything that happens in life happens for a reason and i believe that. If something doesn't happen it just wasn't meant for you. or it wasn't your time yet.

If i never stayed back that year, i would never have left my school and meet my bestest buddy in the entire world Amy.

So...i do believe everything in life happens for a reason...because it all has lead me to where I am now.
