Melina Denies Online Reports & Backstage Problems

Melina posted a video entry today on YouTube entitled "I'm OK!!!" in response to fan concerns of her lack of tweeting as of late as well as recent online rumors. It was reported earlier this week that she has heat with company officials and was soundly defeated on Monday's RAW as a result.

"It's easier to make up stuff or to say things and to kind of believe in the the worst than to just accept things the way they are," she said in response to 'rumors going around'. "Things just happen the way they do and you just got to take it with stride. You know, you can't win them all and things can't be perfect and awesome all the time. But, you can make the situation the best that you can." We stand by our story and will post an update shortly.

The multi-time champion also shows off a very large bag of Skittles sent to her by the confectionery company and discusses her Halloween costume.

I'd believe her over dirtsheets. If she had all this supposed heat she'd be released by now since she's supposedly had heat for years. It's just idiots making up shit just like they did with others. Mickie, Matt, & others have spoken up about the sites as well.

But that's all I'll say on the matter

look at Mickie..WWE was pissed at her for well over a year before finally cutting her loose.

so if they were pissed at Melina, they wouldnt fire her immediately. WWE is very passive-aggressive. they'd just go the same route they have with many other divas (Mickie...Serena) and play it up on tv by having her job out or in some ridiculous storyline based on her real life...(i think they have already done the latter with Melina once before but w/e)

but i think they'd tolerate her for atleast a year if they were pissed at her. She's too big an asset to cut loose over one tiny "issue" or whatever you wanna call it...

If they're that pissed with someone they will release them, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. I just won't believe this at all just like I don't believe most of the crap that is said on sites. It's kinda funny how they chose now to say she's got heat yet she jobbed to Layla in a short match the night after she lost at NOC yet they didn't say crap then. It's just stupid crap posted so people will talk about it and make people believe it's true.

The supposed heat on her is because they haven't been happy with her ring work since coming back & I find that to be complete bullshit because they can't expect someone to be that good after coming back from a bad injury & she's had some decent/great matches since coming back as well, her Superstars match is one example, she did good this week on Raw & I heard she did good on SD which I haven't seen yet. You can just tell when something is made up, I'm just glad she cleared it up.

I also think if she really had heat on her they wouldn't even put her in a match or she'd turn into Jillian instantly or be another Gail who they rarely use. This is just LayCool dominating the division, heat isn't involved

So you dont think...being such an asset that she is, that they would give her time to work on whatever the "problem" is if they were pissed at her?

They did it with Mickie...they told her for damn near a year to lose weight...she refused...even played it up in a tv angle and she still didnt do it..but they continued to keep writing her checks because they knew she was an asset.

She wasnt cut till her partying caught up with her. But for the longest time they gave her the benefit of the doubt.

I dont like Melina but it's quite clear she is their "it" girl...like Mickie used to be. So I highly doubt they would cut her loose so quickly over a little "heat" on her. (if it were the case) It's too big a risk for them. None of the other girls (Eve, Kelly, Bellas) can get the response Melina does nor can they work in the ring as well as her.

I'm just saying if they were pissed at her for whatever little reason..they wouldnt just up and cut her. I could see them giving her a 'warning' (like having her job like she did in that tag match) and then moving on and just hoping she gets the message.

A year and a few years are completely different since every time you turn around Melina supposedly has heat on her then she gets a belt. They just wanted to get people talking which it obviously worked. Eve supposedly had heat on her right after she lost the belt, same with Alicia, and now they did the same thing with Melina. I just don't buy the bullshit

Look Mickie has been dealing with backstage Heat from since Trish left. But she was still a mega asset.

Sable had loads of backstage heat, they pulled the championship off her pronto and tossed it on Debra....and was Sable fired?

Nopes she stuck around a little bit longer....and if she didn't quit....they would have held on to her a year or so.

Is it a shock that Alicia is now jobbing? No, managment never had anything for her in the past as reported, there was backstage heat on her. Much like when Beth won the gold of Mickie 3 years back just for when Candice returned, Alicia winning the gold was basicly the same situation.

They had bigger and better things for Maryse, Gail & Eve were faces, Alicia was a last resort.

I believe reports, because i don't see why someone wakes up one morning and decide to write shit about anyone. To everystory there is a 0.1111% of truth, because the story had to come from somewhere.

well sorry for sounding harsh but Melina is just damaged goods to the WWE right now, her return push was one big epic fail and she's just not being put into the spotlight anymore. Beth is returning soon and now they have Nattie and Eve and probably Gail who are all proven good workers. Melina won't be released, she's too popular to get rid of

You can always address the issue head on I noticed some organizations have been doing it. It quickly puts a end to any rumors after it happens. I seen this happen with 2 sports organizations and one was a verbal arguement with management and the guy who wasn't with the organization anymore said the sites blew it up way more then what it was. It was a verbal disagreement and the sites were reporting a big blow up. Both sides said everything was fine. I also seen one group admit of there being a fight during practice and one site reported the guy would be cut from the team but Manager came out and said the guy won't be cut and had to issue this statement multiple times after a site reported the guy would be cut. I would probably have 50% of each story is correct. I am sure there is people backstage upset with Melina and I am sure it probably ain't as bad as the site making it out to be. A simple arguement or disagreement with someone in management don't mean they are gonna release them. But it makes big news and some sites can run and say well this person in management got power and they disagreed so she won't be pushed. It might of just been a arguement over money or something like that can always be fixxed or moved on from.

i rarely believe stuff that comes out of Melinas mouth anyways....and i would not care nor be shocked if she did get released....considering they have Nattie and Beth who are mega faces as well as Kelly the need for Melina isnt as strong as it was when Nattie was heel

I don't know whether this is true or not. Melina is talented, but I have always got the diva vibe from her. She really seems like she could have a rough attitude outside of the business. But, we will probably never really know anything else about this.
