JR Blogs about Lita Return and Possible Wrestlemania 27 Match

On Lita returning to WWE: Enjoyed seeing Lita make her cameo on Raw Monday night. She was one of the all time great Divas in WWE and I can still vividly remember her job interview in my WWE office many years ago. I assume she will not come back to WWE full time but, as a fan of her work, it would be nice to see her back for a short run. I think that the team of Trish & Lita vs. Lay Cool, for example, would be a really nice attraction type bout at WM27. Just an idea.

LOL that would be like Lita/Trish vs Torrie/Stacy....If they didn't win, theres something wrong.

The prospect of Lay-Cool/Trish&Lita is much more intriguing than what an Stacy&Torrie/Lita&Trish angle/match ever could be.

i like the idea of that...but that would mean LayCool being together for that long

Well that's an interesting idea, but at the same time, I want to see the title defended as well, which hopefully won't be with LayCool by that time :P

Nah, diffrence is if Torrie & Stacy showed up the crowd would give a fuck....if LayCool came out, we could actually hear the crickets in the arena.

I think this is accurate. Michelle is the top diva right now.....and I think she is one of the best women they have. However, I don't think anyone will ever have the attention that Trish had.

as much as i love LayCool, there's so many other women on the roster i'd rather see work with Trish or Lita. for Trish it has to be Nattie or Alicia, she has put both of them over in interviews and i'd really like to see it. for Lita a one on one match with Michelle is a dream, then there's another encounter with Gail Kim or maybe Melina

. Those two were beloved and, sure, they'd a great reaction; but the quality of the match would be horrendous.

With lay-Cool you have two chicks that everyone w ts to see get what's coming to them: you bring in two top divas of the last decade - true fan favorites too - it makes for a great wrestlemania moment if they're beaten. Not to mention peeps are getting to see their faces from the past in action again.

Honestly Lita and Trish shoud lose to LayCool and I know that will upset alot of people but if your trying to give creditblity to the diva you need to allow them to do what Orton did as the Legend Killer. He beat up past stars who were megastars and it shot him to main event status. I would put Miz over The Rock and LayCool over Lita and Trish because if you want to tell the people you got the best wrestling they should be able to beat two wrestlers from the past when LayCool been more active and stuff in the ring.

regardless of who the faces in a match are...if you are a heel and truly over..the crowd will cheer for any face over you. Sadly, that isnt the case with LayCool. Wrestlemania is like 4 months away and by that time...the chance for LayCool to split will be LONG overdue...so they have to lose. Them winning would just be beating a dead horse since their act has become a bit stale...

Stacy/Torrie vs Lita/Trish was done as an invasion angle, and it was very interesting. The fans don't give a damn about Laycool, quite frankly Lita and Trish are demotting themselves to face them.

@Silva, No I don't want the division to suck, but Bringin in Trish & Lita for a short program won't save it becuase once they leave, LayCool will still be top Heel and all the faces will remain irrelevant like before.

WWE doesn't need Trish & Lita...WWE needs a strong credible heel to help put interest back in this division and LayCool ain't cutting it as we can see, thus far, nor Melina, Kelly, Mickie, Jillian, Beth, Gail, Eve, Tiffany, Natalya or Maryse has benefitted from being tossed in the ring with LayCool. Like i said before LayCool needs to be pulled completly out of the division. and help a babyface STAY relevant and actually feud with someone outside of LayCool. Also IF the face remains relevant....it could help another Heel get over.

What has Melina done since feuding with LayCool? What Has Kelly done since feuding with LayCool? What have the benefited? Nothing, they were tossed aside to do NOTHING fter the feud. THAT is the problem with the division. Because when the fans started to care about Kelly..she was tossed aside and now shows up on SD once a month when LayCool makes a rare appearance there. So killing any support she had from the fans, Melina suffered that same faith.

@CP, LayCool does NOT need a Trish/Lita win to prove nothing, notice WWE has over 15 contracted women currently on the main roster (exlcuding Jillian & the NXT girls) notice only Alicia Fox, Maryse, Tamina & Vickie Guererro are the ONLY other Heels outside from LayCool?

Right now giving Alicia Fox or Maryse (Well Tamina is like REALLY green) a MEGA win over someone like Trish or Lita is the ONLY way right now, because seriously.....when Beth or Natalya takes the gold off of LayCool what is next? They have no heels to take over once that title change is made....thus leaving LayCool the only available Heel..so do they really need a win over Trish or Lita? I would better off using that in building another credible heel to take over. But since they have no desire to do so...it seems pretty clear that LayCool is not breaking up anytime soon and will most likely be the only active heel in the title scene for the next year....or it scares me to say...next 2 years.

This is basicly Trish 2000 to 2006 all over again.....they never learn from their mistakes...if layCool ever goes like Trish did..once they leave the Division will once again suffer.

I remember it... Meh. Wrestling was different then so there were some things they could do to compensate for Torrie ands Stacy's very lackluster wrestling. It wouldn't be the same and the sticklike would suffer.

You look at right now: many people are getting behind Nattie because; 1. She's finally getting her long awaited push and; 2. she's been making life miserable for Lay-Cool despite not gaining the championship so far.

Trish and Lita would be something else: a new experience for the fans. Rather than this being about the title, it would be to icons coming together to finally shut the mouths of the narcissists. And much to Silva's point, the Bellas or anyone else on the roster are Lita and Trish. Just having them back generate more interest.

And once LayCool beats her at Survivor Series and Beth comes back, Natalya will basicly be put in the same position Melina is now, irrelevant and not needed. This division does NOT need another Lita and Trish invasion, when they left, they left a HUGE gap waiting to be filled. Luckely we had a strong babyface like Mickie James to save what was left of it. Until 2 years ago WWE has been working on building LayCool, exactly what they did with Trish & Lita and the division was sort of getting back on Track, We DON'T need Trish and Lita come in take over the top babyface position to eventually leave again and leaving yet another GAP and another 3 to 4 years to build back the division again. because if they leave, I'mSorry Beth may be over...but she is no Mickie James when it comes to connecting with the crowd.

WWE NEEDS a strong Babyface....not has beens filling that spot just to leave the same problem again. They are still recovering from their departure...bringing them back in would just make the recovery process even longer.

If they want to come back....come back as heels and help Natalya, Gail Kim, Eve, Kelly get over as strong babyfaces and become the "Top Babyface" instead filling that position just to have the same problem all over again.

You said it yourself...."the bellas or anyone else on the roster are Lita and Trish" but with Trish and Lita back in top position...that leaves no room for growth or interest for the other girls......They need to work on getting over Trish and Lita....and bringing them back...well never let them overcome that

when Lita appeared last monday night she barely got a pop...most of thes "fans" dont know who the hell she is since they werent born during her time or they were very very young.

and as kevin has said, having them back will gain more interest for one night....for one match...then the following night or the next week, then what? we have the same bullshit division that we have now.


true heels get heat no matter who they face...like Randy Orton....or HHH....not even LayCool could get a pop for the Bellas because no one cares enough about LayCool. the fans want those bitches gone.

The Bellas didn't get a pop when they won because no one gives a shit about them. How often do we see them in matches? Rarely. They're usually just being hos in backstage segments so I don't think all the blame should be put on LayCool. That was also just a stupid random match anyway that didn't get much time so it didn't give the fans anything to care about.

Oh and I heard a good pop for Lita on Raw, the fans still know who she is

i've seen nobody faces get pops just because they were facing heels that the fans truly despised

sadly, no one despises LayCool in such a way. lol


but out of everyone saying they do want LayCool vs Trish/Lita...do you really wanna sit through 4 more months of LayCool?

personally i want them splitting up come December..

They need to split up ASAP so the division can come back to life.
