Young was reportedly offered a significant pay cut, but declined. There is a chance he may return as both sides are currently negotiating.
Young's departure surprised and saddened a lot of employees at last night's iMPACT! taping in Orlando, Florida as many viewed him as a "company guy."
He had been partnering with Orlando Jordan in recent months in a comedy tag team.

| I'm kinda saddened, Eric Young was one of the guys who the crowd would cheer on and oddly makes a really credible heel.
There are very few guys who get shitty treatment and manage to be a star even so. TNA has always done a poor job of making Eric this legith contender for anything. But the crowd loves him.
I loved the whole "Don't Fire Eric" angle.....Eric is just IMO a guy i would sign to my company without giving it a second thought, he is just soooo usefull and talented. | |
