So...what the heck is WWE doing with the tag division?

Nexus - Heath & Justin Gabriel (current champs but kinda thrown the belts in a very random scenario lol)
Santino & Koslov - #1 contenders to tag belts
Usos (popping up randomly but no real direction or angle)
Dudebusters - who???
Hart Dynasty (on the verge of splitting)
Rhodes & McIntyre - Split
Hawkins & Vance Archer - Split

so basically...

we went from 7 teams...down to about 4 (3 main teams considering i havent seen the Dudebusters in FOREVER)



any ideas on what the heck WWE is doing? Any thoughts on what you would change if you were in control?

Hart Dynasty split up tonight, that was obvious when Tyson turned

The tag division has been dead for awhile so I don't even care who has those belts anymore

well Tyson Kidd pulled this "leave my partner high and dry" stunt before, then they were back in another tag like the next week..so idk if this is the final straw or if WWE will continue to prolong the obvious with another tag match and one of them turning on the other. lol

after the first time it happened that should've been the end of it yet tonight once again HD was in a match together...

and i dont think anyone cares about their split..they just want to be done with it.

Pair random guys together and play on the shittiness of the division, and reinvent it like that. They've been doing that a lot since '09 full-time so they might as well make all the teams competing like JeriShow, and pray they work and/or catch on.

Breaking up the only credible team in the HD was the stupidest move ever. Why do you think the tag scene was successful a few years back? because MNM were together for so long.

They need to give the Dudebusters the belts.

You forgot Cryme Tyme even though no one really liked/cared about them but me. I don't understand what WWE is doing with the tag team divison, they create brand new title belts and disband all the tag teams & throw the belts on Nexus which was really random and doesn't make sense. The tag division is probably going to end up like the cruiserweight division dead and probably the Divas title will follow afterwards.

Cryme Tyme has been separated for a long time...like ShowMiz & JeriShow.. but yeah idk what the fuck WWE is doing but we're about to be down to a 3-4 team division..WTF is that?

Vix, Tyson hadn't attacked DH Smith before like he did last night with that kick. I think it'd be stupid to see them team again after that. It pretty much looked like Tyson is done with him

WWE just don't care anymore, they won't leave the actual teams together and keep on doing these stupid random teams that no one cares about

Vladerella isn't bad. They're funny and the killed in England or wherever they were.

At least make them legit with a title reign.

I want The Bellas to somehow win the titles since they'll run out of teams.

WWE is odd. I think they do need to build up a solid Tag Division. If they do end the Brand Spilt after WM then we might see some more Teams forming.

Though it began happening more frequently last year, it began in 05 with the birth of Carlito & Masters, Show & Kane then, Rated RKO in 06. Quite a trend, huh?!

I think tag team wrestling is really struggling, not just in the WWE. I was browsing through some old school wrestling vids on youtube this evening. I wish we could see more exciting teams like Demolition, Legion of Doom, Hart Foundation, the Rockers, etc. Back when all of these guys were around there were teams that the crowd worshiped and teams that the crowds despised. Regardless of which side of the coin they were on, they all put on an incredible show.

Currently, I think TNA has a little bit of a leg up on WWE with tag teams. I think teams like the Motor City Machine Guns, Generation Me, Beer Money, are the closest thing we have to what I consider the golden age of tag team wrestling.

You also had thrown together teams like Owen and Yokozuna, but they complimented each other well.

If they can just form two solid teams to feud with each other for the belts and then two others to feud with for contention THEN intersect them, that can be a good start to building a solid backbone for the division and maybe build other teams from that.

They could debut few new teams and let them establish themselves. Place two of them in a lower-level program while another is in a program with one of the already established team, even if they're one who's been randomly put together. The new team gains notoriety as the vets delevop better chemistry - ala New Age Outlaws or Beer Money.

Why not debut some guys as Tag Teams? They had Bo & Duke Rotundo...but they debuted only one. Percy Jackson & Darren Young had a fun tag team in FCW, they debut them as singles stars.

OVW, DSW & FCW had some really awesome tag teams, and used them soooo well. I could remember that Cherry nad her two boys were main eventing doing major storyline.

Why some of the developement teritory's develope really good storylines and not the main roster is beyond me.

I seriously think they should just throw the gold on the Bellas. They are so far up those sluts ass it isn't funny, and they are already shitting on the division so why not just admit it and stop pretending they are revamping it.

The Nexus got the belts because it was to emphasize the growing inner dissension of the group but it was extremely selfish because WWE didn't even bother considering the consequences for the teams they had in the ACTUAL division.
