Backstage News - The Cost Of Jeff Hardy's Immortal Title?

The newly created TNA Immortal Championship was a belt specifically made for Jeff Hardy and thus will not replace the actual TNA World Heavyweight Championship over the long run. The assumption of many within the company is that the longtime belt will return once Hardy loses the Immortal Championship.

Though the purple belt has been panned online, a number of people within the organization are high on its appearance. One TNA source deemed it "beautiful" and raved about the designer's attention to detail.

The word amongst the locker room was that the belt cost the company roughly $18,000.

That shit cost like half the yearly salary of some of the wrestlers. Bad money management.

This company is shit plain and simple, spent 18,000 over a belt that will disappear after the 'cahmp' is done with it, PATHETIC. Bad management, bad, period. Someone should riddle the iMPACT Zone with bullet holes. TNA will go down in history like WCW of how NOT to run a wrestling promotion.

I guess so when you have the same damn people running the organization - at least a good chunk.

Drop a nuke on the place and get it over with it, it's an exhausting long, drawn-out death process.

Plus the belt is god awful. Just brutal!

@Jordan - If those fools (Jarrett, Bischoff and Hogan) aren't there then it would be a waste of time because they'll probably start another organization at some point afterward.

I don't honestly believe that would happen because no one with common sense would want anything to do with them.
