Report: Lawler & Cole Pushing For Jim Ross Return

It's said to be no secret that Jim Ross wants to return to the announce booth. His appearance on RAW two weeks ago resulted in overwhelming sentiment that he should return, but his fate lies in the hands of Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn, who prefer youth—though Jerry Lawler is three years older than Ross.

Furthermore, Lawler and Cole have pushed for Ross to replace Matt Striker as the third man for pay-per-view broadcasts, whom they both dislike. McMahon, however, feels the pay-per-view broadcast team should be limited to those who work television.

Cole wants rid of Striker? Not surprising considering how much better Striker is.

I wouldn't mind seeing JR back but if they were gonna drop somebody theym should drop Striker AND Cole, to make the legendary JR and King as commentators.

Cole hates Striker cause Striker pwns him every fucking PPV, take off Cole and put JR as the head guy on PPVs, or better yet renew Joey Styles and have him do the fucking play by play.

For got's sake, bring back JR, the man is legend. If they paired him back up with King and King took a heel role again, good times (to an extent) would be rolling again but they will never do that except the games lol. Damn, whats with the Striker hatred, he's not nearly as bad as Cole, sorry. I never liked Cole, from day one. King, I don't what his problem is but he's more corny than anyone on the job since the end of Attitudeism.

Cole just doesn't know how to hype something occuring.

JR, you're promoted.
CM Punk... until you're injury free, you're my third guy at the announce table.

I like how he said that they prefer youth....then how do you explain King and Cole, their hair is whiter than snow wtf.

Get rid of Striker? They need to get rid of Cole. He has no business being pushed like this..one of the absolute worst things on Raw when he's not marking out for the Miz.
