Best Comedy, hands down my picks are The Big C & The Big Bang Theory.

Best Actor In Comedy Series: Thomas Jane (who was snummed by the EMMY's) and Jim Parsons

Best Actress Comedy Series: Toni COllette, Laura Linney and Lea Michelle. BUT I will admit...this is the best group of women i've seen in a VERY long time.

I don't watch any comedies that are nominated but I guess I would like to see Glee or the Big Bang Theory win.

For actresses I will go with Toni or Lea.

For actors I guess Jane, Morrison, or Parson. I have not seen the recent stuff but I have seen some of their work and they are my favs.

i havent seen the other shows.

Know what's sad? i've seen every show in this list except Nurse Jackie (which i still need to start watching), Modern Family & The Office. (both imo are crap)

But happy for Showtime, 3 women in comedy??

They HAVE the best shows on tv... Looks like Weeds may be on it's last year, with both the Emmy's and Golden Globes....and now the SAG excluding them...they might be going into their last season and the Big C replacing them.

a small group of women will continue to dominate this category, Lea Michelle, Toni Collette, Edie Falco, Tina Fey, Laura Linny....along with Mary Louis-Parker and Patricia Heaton.

Best women in comedy today (when it comes to TV)
