thoughts this week

Raw - diva of the year battle royal:
as far as battle royals go, this one was quite impressive. it got a nice amount of time and Rosa was probably jumproping for joy that she wasn't the first out (welcome to the main roster, Kaitlyn). i liked Melina's elimination the best, that was a pretty sick bump to the outside. Gail and Alicia teaming up was a little odd but who cares right? Kelly's elimination was also pretty good, anyone else remember that sick bump she took one time in a match with Victoria on ECW? i was pleased that a lot of the divas went over the top rope in this match. i don't mind Michelle winning - she deserved after the year she's had

Impact - Mickie James & Miss Tessmacher vs Tara & Madison Rayne:
i think Tara and Madison should change their theme to "Miss Nothing" by the Pretty Reckless. it was fairly obvious that Brooke learned off those moves specifically for the match. the arm drags looked good but her selling was off especially when Madison was shoulderblocking her in the corner. Mickie and Madison's interaction was great and i'm looking forward to the eventual PPV match. typically the heels advance in the tournament.

Smackdown - LayCool tables match promo:
quite well written anyway and i like that LayCool were playing off the typical way the divas are portrayed as a heelish thing and therefore wrong if you get what i mean. it was such a simple heel tactic to refuse to do the match but that really helped them out here. i liked Beth calling them out on their antics this year although Nattie sounded a bit too squeaky clean on the mic. lol at the caricature, the art department obviously couldn't resist a little pink for the first diva tables match. hopefully this little tease means that Beth and Nattie are winning since everyone does want to see LayCool put through tables. looking forward to the PPV match and i'm hoping for a Glam Slam through a table but i'll settle for a Faithbreaker though.
