Skins (First Generation Cast)

MTV is remaking this series and will probably shit it up, they already made Maxxie female and a Lesbian. Which is lame. Adn their version will probably be rated PG-13, the british was...was pretty R rated..hell maybe NC-17 at times lol.

Anyways Skins is a british teen Drama which is simply amazing. It has one of the BEST casts ever put together. A great group of highly amazingly talented actors. You can compare it to Degrassi, but more sex, nude scene and drugs. The first Series follows a group of friends Chris (Major pot Head), Sid (Complete Nerd), Jal (Top Notch Student), Michelle (The Girl all the guys want), Anwar (The horrible Muslim), Tony (The Bad Guy), Maxxie (The Gay Guy), Cassie (The slightly mental girl with an eating disorder) and their struggles in life. Seriously, i dont think there were many shows better then this.

And the actors?? OMG. Many would know Nicholas Holt as Tony, he was the kid in About A boy with Hugh Grant. You would seriously hate this guy, he plays his character soooo well. You just hated him the entire first season, constantly cheating on Michelle, knowing Sid (his best friend) was in love with her. He even went after Maxxie. And the highlight of this show was Hannah Murray who played Cassie, if you saw this girls character, you would think who in their right mind would play her. Seriously, Hannah Murray is seriously one of the top 10 best actresses in my list after seeing her in this role. The girl is AMAZINGLY talented and i seriously want to see more of her work. And then Joe Dempsy, i won't say his full frontal scene was why i liked him soo much ahaha. BUT he did an amazing job portraying his character. I was saddened to where he ended up. But still an amazing show.

I would seriously reccomend watching it. Really, This is my new top 5 favorite Show. (along side Misfits, Being Human, Glee & The Big Bang Theory). There is nothing on TV like this show.

I'm about to watch the Second Generation Cast, so Season 3 & 4 (which revolves around Tony's sister Effy, who also had a rather huge role in the first two seasons) And hopefully the live up to the hype from the First Generation Cast, because they made an impact tbh.

This is the end of the FIRST season..which was awesome btw lol.
