More extreme matches for the Divas?

Subject: More extreme matches for the Divas? Tue 21 Dec 2010, 11:39 am

With the success of the The first ever Divas Tag Team Tables match between Beth & Natalya vs Laycool at TLC and the success of the Extreme Makeover match between Beth & Michelle for the Women's championship earlier this year at Extreme Rules. Do you think WWE will let the Divas compete in more extreme match types but just "Diva" the matches up. For example the brown tables used at TLC for the Divas tag team table match were alot thinner than the tables the Superstars use and the pink table may have been made out of a plastic but I'm not sure. As for the Exteme Makeover match Beth & Michelle used weapons such as mops, brooms, mop buckets etc.. and those weapons were not to brutal for the Divas. So do you expect more Divas extreme matches just "Diva" up'd or do you think this was a one time thing to respond to TNA?

It's 2007 all over again. TNA started a division and suddenly WWE's division started flourishing.......TNA slacked of....WWE didn't bother.

TNA has a cage match main event......WWE has a Tables match.

Also notice how suddenly all the divas are being used to some capacity...ala TNA?

this was how it started back in 2002. as long as the divas get more time for matches like they did in the Golden Era then that'd be fine. gimmick matches can be overdone so it's just nice to know that they now have opportunities to be in those types of matches. i remember Maria said in her interview that Melina and Michelle were reprimanded for the DDT on the guard rail so that probably means management is still holding them back slightly

OMG Michelle reprimanded? No! She is too powerful and pushes herself above all the other divas. WWE favours her so much, she could never be reprimanded...

All they really need to do is a ladder match but I don't think they would do that for a while.

yep Michelle was reprimanded. she wasn't punished but she was reprimanded. after the match management told the two of them that the spot was too high risk

Lol, I got ya, you're not supposed to look at little things like that though, haha. I didn't even notice the hand thing til u said something :P I just love that spot, it looked cool and they should let the women do more things like that
