Subject: Raw Discussion Mon 27 Dec 2010, 5:59 pm

Last week Melina won a triple threat #1 contender's match and will face Natalya in the near future. Natalya came in the ring to congratulate Melina but was rewarded with a hard slap with Melina leaving the ring pissed and Natalya looking shocked. What is in store for the ladies tonight and will Melina explain her actions?

Alicia/Melina vs Natalya/Eve

That's my prediction for tonight.

We'll also see;
Maryse with Ted.
Tamino with Santino.
Bellas with Bryan.

Not gunna happen. Unless she teams with Natalya in the tag match that'll definitely happen tonight.

I predict either;

A) Natalya vs. Alicia - Natalya winning, made to look stronger as a champion.
B) Eve vs. Melina - Melina winning, made to look stronger as contendor.
or
C) Natalya & Eve vs. Alicia & Melina - Random ass tag match that WWE cannot seem to avoid.

C is what I predicted.

The teams make sense because of the #1 Contenders match last week.

I thought the match was pretty decent. It was great seeing Gail in there with Melina and Melina's A-List split looked good tonight. This feud with her & Natalya is getting good. I loved the smirk Melina gave right before she attempted to slap Natalya again. I hope Melina faces Gail in a singles match soon. I think Natalya will face Alicia or Maryse next week and hopefully the week after Melina faces Gail

Santino and Tamina opening Raw was kinda cool. I like this feud they
have with Ted and Maryse but Ted needs a new partner to challenge
Santino and Kozlov. A 6 person tag could then be done.

The diva match was nice to me. But wtf is up with Alicia's weave! Red?
Really...? The match was short but I finally got to see Melina and Gail
actually have some good interaction. Poor Gail lost [at least Melina
used that move again] but I want a 5+ minute match between them later
on! The aftermath was not bad either. Natalya countered her slap into a
good bitch slap!

That would've been cool but they want to build Melina up so she had to have a strong win. I like where this feud is going and what I'll like even more is Melina getting a match with Gail on Superstars, that's where the matches get time. Give them 5 minutes, that's all they need. Win or lose Gail will look great just like she did last night. I would've rather seen Gail in the triple threat match, don't know why they put Eve in it

hmm i never considered Tamina turning on Santino....that's a good idea, LL. i am happy she's gotten over so fast and I love how Maryse is being used (along with Santino) to help get her over. i'm enjoying this feud.

Alicia's red hair is sexy, imo.

I'm happy she is out of the title picture since for a while I was so sick of her.

She really has fallen from grace though.

I think she did her time and next year she should get a title shot against Natalya or Beth if they wait that long [of course lose] but it would be different.

Maryse is the saving Grace of the Women's Division and can't wait to see her in the spotlight again.

I love how whenever she is in the ring she demands attention and she gets it. She doesn't try hard or over does things to get cheap heel heat (aka LayCool), her little mannerism is enough to get her heal heat.

I would so build my division around Alicia & Maryse in the future, the only two girls who show ability to be something special.

Nope I don't think anyone can say that since it has been a while since she was champ. It's been a long time since she got the pin in a match too..

Which is good, her BACk in the division will be refreshing.

She will get another run, no worries. WWE has a whole lot of faith in Maryse, they've shown that in the past. So she'll be in the spotlight when Melina fails again.

Maryse for Divas Champion for 2011. She'll be the first ever 3 times Divas Champion!!!

I like Maryse, she's the most watchable in terms of personality and charisma. I do feel she got a bit lazy with her wrestling this year so hopefully she'll impress us more with her wrestling in 2011. I do like her having a mini feud with Tamina.really sparks off how different they are.
Liked the tag , everyone did well though I hope we get some kind of explanation next week as to why Melinas turned heel.

^Yep. I do think Maryse is a decent wrestler when she actually tries but from what I saw of her in the ring this year she's just flat out lazy and she really needs to work on her selling. That's why I think she's better off as a manager. Keep the talented women in the ring and make women like Kelly and Maryse managers. They are the only ones who haven't really been improving in the ring.
