Huge Name Signs with WWE?

Awesome Kong needs to do whats best for Awesome Kong. You lost respect for her and Gail? Whatever, but in the end it comes down to what is best for Kong, and a good paycheck to support herself and her family is what she needs.

I'd rather keep my pride in tact then be made a fool for money.

But shes not being made a fool, her character is. There is a seperate line between real life success and in-character success. I'd honestly rather be a happy millionaire in real life and be a crap character on screen

I'd rather be poor and happy, then rich and being make a fool of on screen or anywhere.

But the thing is, she might be happy being financially stable, especially if she doesn't have a lengthy career ahead of her. When you go from earning such a shit pay to something great, its really difficult to refuse.

It's not like people have not seen Kong have awesome matches so she did that part of her career let her get what she fucking deserves and that is some real money for possibly a small amount of work.

I of course want her to work for it in great matches with Beth, Gail, LayCool, Melina, Natalya etc but if she has to squash Eve, The Bellas etc along the way then whatever. Even if she has to lose every now and then it isn't the end of the world. I hope if that happens it isn't every week to stupid shit but the true wrestlers should not be incapable of beating her after a while.

Actually, you can and i have. Sara del Rey has done it, MsChif has done it, Lacey has done it.

All these women have refused WWE in the past. April Hunter has done it twice.

So how is Kong any diffrent? They can refuse, don't see how it's "Hard" for Kong.

There's a thin line between earning a living and having a career. Kong chose to earn a living, not a bad thing, got bills to pay but she cannot expect a lasting run in the company or anyone else for that matter. It's unrealistic. It's WWE, folks. If you're not second/third/fourth generation wrestlers, have 'the look' Vince jacks off to, or some sort of relative to a Legend, a connection to the Kliq OR kiss SO MUCH ASS it's not even funny, you won't get nowhere.

Only things they created themselves. Certain wrestlers' gimmicks and stuff they can't because they own that stuff themselves.

Former TNA Knockout, Awesome Kong was asked to resolve her legal issues in Florida by WWE officials before heading to the company, reports ProWrestling.net.

Kong, real name Kia Stevens, was arrested on December 22nd for driving with a suspended license. The former Knockouts Champion no longer lives in Florida but handed herself in to police at Hillsborough County, FL in order to clear the situation up and begin her new career.

The article also notes that Kong is likely to bypass the developmental system, but could spend a little bit of time there to work off ring rust.

I think she will only be in WWE a couple 6 months to 3 years before she is cut cause she don't fit the diva look.

Looks obviously weren't as important then as they've been since like 95-96 when WWE was beginning to change. Their top face, Alundra Blayze wasn't all that.

The thing with Kong in WWE is most of the people won't even know who she is, so what WWE does with her will make or break her.

That's basicly it. WWE is not one to have secundary feuds or treat their women like they are human beings. So once what they had plan for her is done with and someone eventually slay's the dragon....she's good to go and there are no further plans for her.

They'll become bored with her? Sometimes I think they're bored with many athletes on the roster. The crowds are so silent.

WWE Hall of Famer, Jim Ross commented on the signing of Awesome Kong in his latest blog. The former Raw commentator treats the signing as a rumor, however comments that if true, he would not like to see Kong wrestle men.
He says:

I don’t know if WWE has signed female star Awesome Kong or not but if they have then I think it is a smart hire. After meeting her at the Cauliflower Alley Club (CAC) function a year or so ago in Las Vegas, I wrote that I thought she would be a nice fit in WWE because Kong is so unique. If she does sign, I’d bet a case of BBQ sauce that her name changes.

If the Kong rumor is true, and this is just my two cents, I hope that Kong NEVER wrestles a man in WWE.
