Backstage News: Christian & Khali's WWE Returns?, More

-- Christian, who has been sidelined since September due a torn pectoral muscle, could return to the squared circle as early as next month. If not, he is expected back before WrestleMania XXVII.

-- The Great Khali is expected to return to WWE airwaves by the end of the month. He reached the finals of the Bigg Boss reality show in India over the weekend. The season finale airs this Saturday.

-- WWE issued an e-mail blast pushing fans to vote for John Cena for ESPN SportsNation's 1st Annual Awesomest Dude Of The Year Award. The WWE Superstar was trailing American soccer player Landon Donovan by 20,000 votes on the Facebook poll when the e-mail was sent out. They asked fans to continuously vote for Cena.

Oh, shit. I overlooked that part. In the world of professional wrestling, he may win 'most awesome dude' or whatever the fuck it's called...

Fans of legit sports, which outweigh wrestling fans by millions... maybe a couple billions - in no shape or form going to select this guy over the top stars of each respective sport.

I saw all this urging of fans to vote Cena on Twitter. The reason behind it was so The Miz couldn't call himself the "Awesomest Dude".

Whoever thought of the name for this award, shouldn't ever name another one.

It's for Sportsnation it's a good show sort of like a newer pti where fans do the voting on the stuff. They done best dunker awards etc.

In other news, Evan Bourne and Skip Sheffield should be back sometime in the next two weeks.

It'll be good to see Evan back. Being in dire need of tag teams I'd put him with Lucha-style performer. Not completely similar, but complimentary. They're never going to give him a respectable singles push, so why not?!

I'm only interested in seeing what they do with Shef when he returns. Will they tie him in a Nexus angle? Or will they have him return as if he was never a member and never committed those heinous attacks *satire* on Cena and the other WWE Universe Superheroes?
