Would the feud between Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and the number one contender to the WWE Championship, John Cena, as well as the addition of Stone Cold Steve Austin appearing on Monday Night RAW be enough to have professional wrestling fans tune in, leading up to WrestleMania XXVII?

It appears as if last night’s WWE Monday Night RAW did do enough to entice professional wrestling fans to tune in, judging by the ratings for the show.

According to multiple online reports, the March 7th, 2011 edition of WWE Monday Night RAW on the USA Network did a 3.94 rating, rounded to a 3.9 overall, which is up from last week’s 3.8 rating. The show which featured Dolph Ziggler as the newest member of the WWE Monday Night RAW brand, the “final knockout” in the John Cena feud with The Rock, as well as the returns of JBL and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin averaged approximately over 5,800,000 viewers, which is up from last week’s 5,600,000 viewers.

Vince McMahon and World Wrestling Entertainment officials will no doubt be pleased at the rating, edging closer to the 4.0 mark, as the company move closer to their pay-per-view extravaganza, WrestleMania XXVII.

The best part of the show was Cole being a dickhead. I was actually entertained by him.

It's Jimmy Hart he managed and wrestled and help Andy Kaufman during the feud with Lawler.

Honestly, was very entertained tonight. I got to see Snooki's ass, I got to watch a ridiculously shit Miz/Cena beatdown, a great Cole/Lawler/JR segment before it was pissed on at the end to make Cole look 'strong'....what more could I wish for.

No, the crowd was amazing and it wasn't dead on tv. They were alive throughout the whole show especially with Orton, Cole, and Cena
