WWE Interested In Sting?

The Sun has posted an article claiming that WWE is plotting to swoop the multi-time World Champion from TNA Wrestling. They say with WrestleMania taking place in WCW's former home of Atlanta this year, Vince McMahon wants Sting to be a part of the show and inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Though still listed on the TNA Wrestling website, Sting is presently a free agent after his contract with the organization expired late last year. Most expected him to re-sign w/ TNA though so we'll see what happens in the next few weeks.

It'll be interesting to see if he'll do it. I personally don't think he will.

I think it's about time for Sting to do so, he's at the end of his career and no better place to be honored at than the WWE which is something I WILL give Vince, the organization respects the Legends and recognizes them.

I think Sting should go because it ain't like TNA is gonna do him any better.

WWE is getting more and more desperate by the day...

^Vince has been trying to recruit him for years, not just now.

desperate? how? because they want THE biggest star to NEVER work in WWE? heres a match for you...Shawn Michaels vs Sting. who wouldnt pay to see that?

Considering Shawn is retired, it wouldn't matter who paid to see it lol.

Exactly, his a star not to work in the WWE. Why don't we just bring in AJ Styles as well? Its the exact same thing..After all, he worked in WCW. Sure, Sting was a bigger star, but he has no relevance to WWE. I'm sure most young people wouldn't even know who he was. If he had worked in the WWE it would make sense, but him just randomly appearing is inconsistent.

None of this kids knew who Bret Hart was, but the wonders a video package can do to the audience.

Bret has relevance- Vince fued, Shawn fued, relation to HD. What reason does Sting have to be there?

WWE have been wanting Sting for year, but Sting has turned down every time because of the WWE schedule. I doubt anything's changed unless Sting is offered a short-term contract (similar to Bret Hart's last year that ran from Jan-WM, before it got extended).

it wouldnt matter? clearly you dont know the impact a HBK/Sting match could have and how it could build up. and he wouldnt just randomly appear...im pretty sure there would be some sort of build up leading to the event

also, if the HOF has a WCW theme....Sting = WCW. relevance just shot through the roof

Uh... you do know they want to do something involving WCW this year for Mania, right?

Sting is a huge star from the WCW days.

Plus, if they wanted, they could do an angle about his reasons for not signing with the company until now. Politics and stuff. He'd probably a tweener. It isn't impossible.

^ I would LOVE for that to happen. They might as well bring Nash with him, he's available too and he was a major part of WCW (for better or worse or both) as well.

I really would prefer to not see Sting in WWE.
