Report: Triple H vs. 'Taker Discussed For WrestleMania

-- Providing that The Undertaker is healthy enough to compete in a singles match at WrestleMania XXVII, there has been talk of "The Deadman" facing his opponent at WrestleMania X-Seven, Triple H.

Shawn Michaels as the bout's special guest referee has also been discussed. He recently stated that he reached a new contractual agreement with WWE, but would not be returning the ring as a wrestler. He did not, however, rule out special appearances or becoming an on-air character at some point.

Its been a long time since Triple H and Undertaker competed 1-on-1 against each other so it would be an interesting match. It would be nice to see HBK back in a regluar role too, as he can be quite amusing at some points.

their last 1v1 match was in 08 i believe so it wasnt that long ago

A good couple couple of years, but I still can't remember it. I think they fought in an Elimination Chamber in '09, but I think that was the last time they wrestled each other.

Still, will be an interesting match if it happens, which I doubt as Taker wants Wade Barrett at WM and Triple H is rumoured to be facing Sheamus.

I was indeed 2008 when Triple H was the WWE Champion on SD!

Seems like a cheap attempt to capitalize off the last HBK/Taker encounters by having them face his DX/Kliq cohort but it's better than the original plan.
